There are a million versions of "Little Wing." This take sits at the very top of them all. Astonishing virtuosity revealing a beautiful soul of a complete musician and instrumentalist. I love how it's all directed out to the people there. A beautiful man making beautiful music.

As impressed as I am with Eric's lead playing, I find his understanding of chords, harmony and rhythm equally as impressive. He uses such unconventional chord voicings, but they always just work. Eric is among the greatest guitarists of our time imo. 👍👌👀

Yes Eric is very special and reminds of SRV in how the music is channelled and flows from the soul. See this in very few guitarists. Seeing Eric live is life changing as was seeing SRV.

I know this is a late reply, but that's him on his wah pedal making that effect. Wah pedals can easily sound cheesy with the wrong setup, but the rig that he's running through here (A DV Mark amp) mixed with that wah gives him an odd (But really cool and unique), almost "digital" sounding quack/tone.
