This song reminds me of the guy I met online. We talked through calls every night, we watched movies through an app. We shared random stories, asked each other how was our day went and we get to know each other. This is the most beautiful song I have ever heard. It is like it was written for me with the words I have been thinking. I am head over heels in love with the girl that is meant to be my soulmate. Two years ago I started dating my best friend. I never thought it would happen. He would always say he wasn't looking for a relationship (it made me upset because I had already fallen in love with him). Then this one summer we stopped hanging out like before and I thought he hated me becasue he started to talk to someone else. Plus, everytime we talked he would mention this person. It hurt me. But I would rather have him be happy. I started talking to someone else too...thing is...I could never get him off my mind. Summer ended and fall came. We had a friendsgiving and before I went home, he gave me a letter. I read it and in it it said he had fallen in love with me. I later found out that the reason he stopped hanging out with me was becasue he was getting confused at what he was feeling towards me. He didn't know what he was feeling haha. But he was talking to that other person to figure it out (lol he's such a dork) We've been friends for about 8+ years and on Nov. 19 we have officially been dating for two years. 💗 I truly love him.

I just now heard this song. I met the love of my life junior year of high school(2016). With how many problems I had at home and with family, she was my escape. She put a smile on my face when things weren’t going good. We made each other promises like loving each other forever. We graduated together and it all seemed like a love story you see in a movie. I moved cities to go to school and in search of a better life because I grew up poor. We tried the long distance thing and it worked for a while until it didn’t. We broke up in 2017 then 10 months later we got back together but nothing was the same. I didn’t feel she loved me anymore. We broke up in 2018 and ever since then I have a hole in my heart and every girl i meet i compare them to her and they have never won. Been single for damn near 4 years now but I just know its not a good idea. But I did promise her I’d love her forever..

This hits home.. I met a guy.. after a while he became more and more like my best friend.. we were together all the time.. he had a girlfriend at the time so when we hung out she was there took half the time.. after a while I slowly started to fall for him more.. after a while his girlfriend and I became closer and she was like an older sister to me. One day she got super sick.. no one really knew what was wrong but they had to do surgery.. and it was a pretty risky surgery and no one thought she would survive.. so she started saying her goodbyes.. she came to him and I and had this talk... “I can see what you two have is special.. don’t let me ruin that.. you two belong together you both love each other and I can see that I’m not sure if I have much longer after this surgery but I want you two to be happy.. so if you guys want to give it a try go ahead.” Thankfully she made it through surgery.. while she was away him and I started talking and getting closer. Eventually she came back into his life and was basically like “it’s either her or me” he chose me.. I was so happy but she wasn’t.. we dated for about a week and after a while I found out that she had been talking to him behind my back.. making cute little dates and stuff.. he came up to me one day and said “hey, look I’ve been thinking about the decision I made a while back about picking between you two.. idk what to do” anyway.. he chose her.. it would always be her.. sometimes I wonder what it would be like if her and I swapped places.. Him and I don’t talk anymore but Ik he’s happy..

This is how I feel about my ex. We dated almost 2 years, and I couldn't marry him bc the whole time I knew something was not right, as he always hid some things about his ex. I broke up with him in Feb, and he got back with her, engaged in June. Sometimes, it is the way it is. It hurts, but when u know it ain't it, u gotta just let it go. This song really hits the part we want to ignore but need to face.

When I first heard this song, I had just gotten a text that the guy I really liked wanted to be with someone else after telling me how much he liked me and liked our time together. I’ve had this song on repeat for the last two days. This song has helped me in so many different ways. Thank you. 🙏🏻

This is a beautiful song, but hit's so hard all the same. I had feelings for someone for many years, but always kept my distance, as they had someone else, until one day they opened up to me, wasn't happy in their relationship, and the partner was acutally abusive. I tried to help, and we got super close, and we'd play this song to each other, along with others, and we knew if we met first, we'd be great together. But in the end she struggled to see a way out of her relationship, and we fell apart, and i still don't understand why she wouldn't let me help her, and she deserves so much more than her current situation. I just hope she reaches out again to me soon.

This song reminds me of me and my best friend.... He said he loves me and I know I fell for him too.... I have a bf and if I had met my bestfriend before him, it would have worked.... We don't fall in love with the wrong person, we fall at the wrong time.... I had to let him go for his good coz there's no future for him with me.... Plus, my bf is a good person....
