I won’t say she stole the show, but her solo was almost a song within a song. Her vocals and range was mesmerizing. Absolutely beautiful.

Katie Kissoon is special...not many will get the complete grasp of this!

The first time I saw and heard Katie Kissoon sing was on the tribute to the late George Harrison with Billy Preston singing My Sweet Lord. I was smitten immediately. She has that celestial flavor in her voice. I have been searching for her music ever since

I heard this version of this song some 18 years ago. I've always loved this song Mr Eric Clapton, but Ms Katie Kissoon, I had goosebumps when I first heard this version. Your singing added a brand new dimension to this song. 18 years later, your singing still brings me close to tears. Wow Ma'am... what a GOLDEN VOICE you have. I commend you and your voice.

I love this so much. My husband told me that this is how he saw me. 20 yrs together. He died 2 months ago. Thank you, Eric!

@@BeckVMH My point was she was not singing the notes, she was just screaming. You could make the same sounds with a tin dog whistle. Some singers can hit those high notes, opera divas for example. That bitch is no diva. Question.. what WORD was she singing at her highest pitch?

You can't say enough about Eric's talent. But Katie Kasoon? Wow wow wow voice of an angel. You were shown up in this one Eric.

I had the same thought. But when I looked into it, it seemed that when Katie Kissoon was touring with Roger Waters, Carol Kenyan sang "Great Gig In The Sky". You might find versions where Katie sings that part. She's still going strong. . . She was backing Clapton at the Royal Albert Hall in May this year (2019). Still looking and sounding great at 68 years young!!
