Those two blonde back-up singers are the greatest. This is when Clapton had the best of the best talent in his band. Nothing like it. He was at his peak. I put this on when I am feeling low and it always brings me back to life.

Man. I Shot the Sheriff killed at this show. Eric is a phenomenal arranger. I think this tour may have had some of the best arrangements of any of them.

You can always hear Knopfler’s magical licks in the background in White Room. Love this!!! The 2 masters at work

Love it when the mood comes over Clapton...he just goes with it and is lost in his own little space, loved Knofler, and Elton as well....wow what a treat those people got at the concert.

Eric Clayton there isn't a single song that exists that I don't love, Mark your guitar style sings music, Elton John brought tears to my eyes singing CANDLE IN THE WIND. The Best performance I came across. Thanks for posting 📫 this my friend

I watched EC live a few months later in 89, then mid 90s in Paris and again around 2015 in Hong Kong. He's the reason I have played guitar since my teenage. I love the man.

I've always loved the friendship between Eric, Mark and Elton, just as much as I enjoy watching them perform together. You can tell they really enjoy and respect each others music.. So much talent on that stage,

I saw Eric Clapton, at the Spectrum, in Philly, 1979, with Foghat, and Bill Walsh! Whether the band he played with was the Domino's or not I know it was one heck of a performance and an awesome night of entertainment

What absolute class, saw Eric Clapton in the Yardbirds when I was still in England, age 14 Wow! Then with Cream, tiny room above a pub in Manor Park, so close I could have reached out and touched him. I was only 18, over 50 years ago. He was magic then and has only got even better. What a great musician, what a gorgeous spirit 🥰💗

My two favourite guitarists ever, together!

Awesome performance, I love EC's blues but to get a taste of him doing a 'rock' show is something special too. Saw him in 94' doing a similar show and it was incredible. No Mark Knopfler that tour but there was Andy Fairweather Low and he is an incredible guitarist as well. The incredible Nathan East was in the band too (smiling and so funky good) and so was Ray Cooper. Little trivia: EC's drummer in this show is Steve Ferrone who joined Tom Petty & The Heartbreakers in 94' and played with them for 23 glorious years. Thanks Eric and good on you for stopping smoking.

Nice to see Eric and Mark trading licks. I've seen a lot of videos of them together where they are almost overly respectful of each other with usually one just backing the other with the chords.

First time I saw Nathan with Eric was in 87 with P. Collins on drums and Nathan and Eric had so much fun dancing back to back and most recently last year at RAH, I was right in front of Nathan and his big smile. Always a joy to see him play and sing with Eric.

The greatest concert so wish I could’ve been there Eric Clapton his ever so talented musicians Elton John wow God given extraordinary talent to all including back up singers Absolutely privileged to hear it today on u tube Thanks so so much took my blues away 😊😍

Whenever EC and MK appear together live on stage there is never a clash of egos as they don't have them. Each respects that the other is a superb musician and vocalist. Shame the same can't be said of McCartney, one of the most unjustified egos of the 20th Century. This concert is a 1hr-23m-27s eargasm.

Completely irrational shot at McCartney who has been one of the most eager and giving musicians around the past 30 years. He's worked with everyone from Allen Toussaint, Flood, old friend Klaus Voorman, Dave Grohl, Scotty Moore, Clapton himself...I could go on & on. "Unjustified ego"? First off McCartney doesn't come off overly egotistical, but if any artist deserved to be a bit of a big head it'd be McCartney! The most successful songwriter in history, a multi-instrumentalist capable of producing music in countless genre's and universally accepted as an influence of every electric bass player since 1964, etc. But he doesn't act like a douche, to the contrary he's very humble and down to Earth.

I,m so full of this Erixc Clapton riverboat rendition of some of the most classical music ever to have existed in the sixties at the crossroads of the birth of rock and roll blues.if this wasn,t written in either Louisiana or new Orleans , it,a a crying shame .John Rollo saying to yah that rock and roll NEVER FORGETS!!!

Absolutely spot on MK said his voice is a white Ray Charles . Its that good . Eric is so much more than a sublime guitar player

love nathan east's cool ponytail braid... the "Tearing Us Apart" is combustible -- best live version I've seen of many -- check it out :) And the Elton John material wildly exceeded my expectations -- its beautiful.

"Lay Down Sally" best country western track ever! love it! Clapton got a mega star because of his pop / rock songs! outside of the blues...his vocals..that's what fills stadiums!...he was a household name in the late 80ies! on the radio all the time! Bonamassa, Vaughan , never had that! BB King to a lesser degree! And I love all three of these guys....Peopel just dont get it why Clapton is so big - despite Vaughan being the ultimate of ultimates on guitar!
