Eric Carr reveals: I almost got Bruce Kulick killed

In this interview excerpt from May 9, 1989, Eric Carr, KISS's second drummer, reveals how asking Bruce Kulick to run an errand for him almost cost Bruce his life. Fortunately, Bruce wound up only with a broken bone and not a fractured skull .... or worse! Bruce and Eric were soon back in the studio working with Gene Simmons and Paul Stanley as they recorded demos for the Hot in the Shade album.
The video features photos of Eric along with captions that relate the photos to audio excerpts from his interview.

Bruce and Eric seemed like good friends. It’s great that even now Bruce keeps Eric’s memory alive and always remembers Eric on his birthday and anniversary of his passing.

Seems like Gene and Paul were trying to off Bruce on at least two occasions. They tried to lure Ace to the Bahamas.

After ace left, the only other guitar player with a signature sound was Vinnie. I can never tell the difference between mark Saint John or Bruce kulick.

Mark was very much like the hot shot guitarists of the mid 1980s. Mark was classically trained and liked to play fast. Bruce' influences were the same as Ace's: Hendrix, Clapton, etc. and plays riffs. He's not as concerned about speed but more about the sound and the vibe
