Eric is an ex-mini donut salesman who studied mechanical engineering at the University of Toronto. He's spent his post-donut career figuring out how to put electronics into boxes. You'll find him obsessing over old camera lenses and rabbits with pointy ears when he's not doing that.

The talk was excellent too. 😁 I had no idea that there were services available the same way PCBs can be made.

Oh ya definitely. Distributed manufacturing is the future for small/mid scale projects for sure. Xometry is a great resource as well. I've been favoring sheet metal for projects in Calgary just wish we had some more pressing/stamping options locally.

There are some decent fabricators like Allied Metal but none that do deep draw pressing or custom forming.
