At first, I was kind of disappointed that Reiner doesn't say anything. But then I realised, Reiner probably feels that he has no right to say anything to Eren as he's kind of responsible for Eren going down this path.

@@MYSTICKNIGHT23 Eren doesn't save Reiner because he's an Eldian, Eren doesn't care about that at all (Liberio for example), Eren just knows that he has become all that he hated about Reiner and spares him because he now knows Reiner had no choice. Eren sees that Reiner will fight to protect the world irrespective of national alliances and more importantly his friends and that's why he lets him live.

Annie called it half a season ago - this is a man who resolved to wipe humanity from the face of the earth save for Paradis. No amount of talking is going to bring him down from THAT.

@@Light12187 bro what are you talking about i’ve read the manga dozens of times over. the MAIN reason eren started the rumbling was for himself above protecting his friends and eldia. he even literally says it himself that all this is what he wanted all along and even tells armin in the last chapter that he did it even knowing that they might all get killed (his friends) because eren was selfish and gave up on his life with mikasa and his friends in order to taste the freedom he always yearned for which was wiping out all of humanity leaving the world a blank slate. eren was and still is my favorite character but he’s one of the most selfish characters in the series who put his own personal goals above everything else so yes in a summary again he did do it for himself above any other reasons.

And having no hero in war either, yes what Eren is doing is wrong but to most of Paradis, he is saving them, sure when he dies, his friends will be considered heroes by the survivors but it means Paradis as Eren said is left to chance and by the books, he was right about what would happen ,he was only able to delay it

Eren does truly love them all. he refuses to let them have a burden and just want them to live a long and happy life.

Eren knows that he has no place in this world after committing the biggest crime in the history of mankind. He himself is broken beyond belief after doing all that and killing him is the only way to free him from his suffering. He and Reiner are the most tragic characters in the entire anime. There is no one who suffered as much as these two… asides Mikasa of course. Mikasa is the true loser of this show because she has to spend 60-80 years mourning her biggest, first and only love. Attack on Titan one of the greatest pieces of art in the history of mankind and I am glad that I was able to witness it from start to end. This was my first Anime. I started watching this show 10 years ago when I was still a kid and grew up watching Eren growing up. Attack on Titan ending, especially in such a tragic way felt like a chapter of my life closing for ever. The only thing that comes close to this is One Piece. Attack on Titan is the only series ever that sent me into a serious post series depression and I don’t want to imagine what will happen after the end of One Piece.

Wait so if I’m getting this straight, just before this Reiner talks about his want for suicide, to end his struggles, and him saying he was right about Eren wanting the same, does that mean Eren really forced them to kill him? I made the theory before but hadn’t thought of it in a while, as in the books, his death led to peace, the Eldians being considered heroes for stopping Eren so no one bothered them for a while, so the anime may imply it is his full intention to make his friends have no choice but to end his own struggle

The reason why Mikasa, Armin, Jean, and Connie were sent back to where they started after running to Eren is a reference to Jojo's Bizzare Adventure where Dio sends Polnareff down the stairs using "The World". According to Google, the World represents "an ending to a cycle of life, a pause in life before the next big cycle beginning with the fool." This directly foreshadows the events after the main story; how humanity repeats itself with war and how the titan powers would come back again with that boy and his dog. Isayama is truly one of the writers of all time.

How the fu** is Levi, a 40 years old veteran, still not Commander after both Erwin and Hange died, but it's Armin instead, who's practically a rookie next to him?? (Armin is smart, nothing against him, but shouldn't it be an older veteran to succeed the others?)

Eren should have used the Founder to not only brainwash his friends, but also turn them (and all other Eldians) into an organic version of the Borg. That, combined with the extermination of every single normal human (and Ackerman) on the planet would end the Eldian cycle of hate forever.

they are eldian. ackermans are eldians altered by the royal family, given the power of the titans in human form which can be unlocked in any ackerman under the right amount of stress. mikasa is half eldian, half asian, so half normal human, her being an ackerman doesn't make her not eldian, as ackermans are an eldian family. levi is full eldian, with an ackerman for a mother and an unknown eldian for a father. levi's uncle says he knew of his cousin who was mikasa's father, though he dared not interfere. the ackermans are eldian, make no mistake, but they have what the others dont, the power of titans in human form, and an immunity to memory alterations. they are very much eldian and connected to the coordinate all the same

You obviously haven't read enough of AOT to understand why the rumbling should ENTIRELY be completed. The AOT universe unfortunately has entire races of people that believe that the people of Paradis should pay for what their ancestors did MANY years ago, and they even bully Eldiens(SP?) that live outside of Paradis so much that they believe that they are 'good' for betraying the Eldiens of Paradis. *MASSIVE SPOILER ALERT!!!* And if you see the ending of AOT, you'll see why the rumbling *Should* have completed.

Bro the plot of naruto is so different from aot Aot world is different from naruto world Here power of friendship doesn’t work U can’t just charge in saying power of friendship>loyalty towards ur country/humanity Unlike the talk no jutsu of naruto aot does show conflicting opinions and how ppl actually take their action instead of turning back at the last moment to be the good like obito pain and many others It has more of a seinen concept Naruto is mostly shounen and fantasy with very little to relate with real world

If you didn’t know that Eren was putting up a facade this entire season because he wanted his friends to hate him so they would be capable of killing once he started the rumbling, then you just have poor media literacy skills. He never hated Mikasa and Armin. He loves them more than anything. If you thought for even a second that he actually hated them, then that’s on you. 🤷🏾‍♀️

I don't understand this Eren, I refuse to believe that this one is the same we've seen in the last episode where he talked with Armin. Well, he talks that he is a bad person when he announced the rumbling so that everyone in the world know that Eren is the villain and anyone stopping him would be a hero (aka. his friends) But know he's only talking to his friends, then why putting on the act of evil and not talk to them casually?
