Erase portion of feature and create mask using Erase tool in ArcGIS.Simple Analysis, input the features which you want to erase and select erase feature which will be used to erase the input feature.Find the tool in Arctool box select Analysis Tool once again select Overlay, and within Overlay you can find the Erase Tool
