Here is the final mix of our preproduction track some of you may have heard, now called "Alchemic Web of Deceit". This is the first of 5 songs to appear on our demo. We are Equipoise, comprised of current and ex members of Beyond Creation, Vale of Pnath, Brought by Pain, Dissonance In Design, Wormhole, and Tethys, and we’re ready to unleash some technical death metal fury on you all! there is absolutely no reason to be embarrassed by this video. it's merely a demo or an idea that birthed an incredible song, and you should be proud. ;) (saying this because of how you feel about it)

Huge fan immediately x) Can't wait for a human drummer to come and do justice to it. People are seeing a lot of Beyond Creation, but the vocals really remind me of Abiotic as well, sick as hell ! Can't wait for the album

You guys could have used this contrapuntal nylon guitar part for electric guitars too. Anyway, I love the intensity of this piece and the VOCALS man... Totally killing it. The solo is tasty but imo definitely needs some more reverb.

when we record this the second time around, I'll be sure to add a bunch of delay/chorus/reverb up to the solos. that was my game plan originally anyhow!

in fact, you've given me a good idea to take that counterpoint and use it on the electric guitars at the end! I might have to play with that.

Yeah, that's what I also like to do in my own music. The distorted guitar sound is gonna really spice things up. It's good that some reverb will be added cause it sounds a bit 'flat' as it is now.

+patrolmostwanted I agree completely. especially considering I got Christian as a guest on our song that's out next week, and I've been jamming first fragment like crazy, I've been craving the heavy delay and chorus and reverb. mind linking up your music?

Dude, you mean Christian Muenzner? That's gonna be insane, I can tell already. First Fragment? Well, Dasein is a masterpiece, that's for sure. Can't stop listening to it, I'm addicted to all the eargasms it causes me to achieve. L'entite, Mordetre et Denaissance, Gula... Saying that this album kicks ass would be a huge understatement. I haven't published anything yet but I have a Soundcloud account and I'm planning to upload some music there. Sadly, it's all written in GuitarPro as I have no possibility of recording anything and even if I could record, I wouldn't be able to play it myself :D I also find it difficult not to make any little tweaks to my music after the initial completion, when the major songwriting is done. To be honest, it always feels like it's 'almost finished' but still needs to be perfected.
Wow...can't wait to hear an album from you guys. (please get a great drummer into this great thing you've got going...programmed drums just don't cut it). Fucking amazing demo though!!!!

thanks mang! yeah, guyot Benoit (ex-beyond creation, brought by pain ) will be handling drum duties on this album, so the three demo tracks will be rerecorded for the LP, including live drums. I gotchu!
