Welcome to Texas. Texas is the most business friendly state I know. I like that the first $250,000 is not taxable by the state. Many businesses are moving to Texas, so for me, more customers.

Good to see my younger self in a lot of the photos there! I still have my Inovativ cart. It’s no longer shiny and def not worth $4000 but has been serving me for 7+ years now. One of the best investments for entering the camera department role and one of the most crucial piece to make your day IMO.

Could go with a twin or whatever size and do half the side of the van cot style but mounted in the air and still have room for the magliner built...

8' 4-way folding ramp. Bought on ebay. It is a nightmare, 100 ways to lose a finger.

@@CrankyCameraman oooooo. I have a couple of steel 7’ ramps that I mount to the side of my roof-mounted ladder rack. I’m always afraid they’ll fly off in heavy winds. I’m looking for something to keep inside my van and won’t get in the way.

@@BrianReyesFilm the transit connect build was my best ramp setup across 5 work trucks over 25 years. The ramp is bolted to the deck but can be removed by pulling two hinge pins. The ramp burns approx 24” of length when in the transport position. 7’ vs 8’ take up the same space when folded. So better to go longer for less incline loading carts solo. If you buy, highly recommend you DIY install. A shop will be too conservative in position and mount the ramp deeper into the cargo area burning valuable deck space. 4 holes / bolts. Easy DIY.

I dont like how DEEP the shelves are in the yeagers/innovative. Obviously they have to be by design. But you loose almost 4" in possible realistate in that bottom deck because you need to lift it up 3.5" just to get it out. Aka cant put in 1600 or 1610s on their side. Large lens cases barely fit in there anyway. They are beautiful carts though. Magliners and rocknrollers for me.

Edit: my rocknroller isnt a rocknroller anymore as I put in all custom wheels with metal ball bearings so now its 2x as heavy literally. Otherwise they are total junk because pf the wheels.

Excellent notes, I've experienced the 1600 case issue on the yeagers/innovative many times. Sold my Mag senior, I think I owned it for 20 years. Tossed my full size rock and roller in 2020 when I moved from CA to TX, as of today I think I'm going to buy a larger rock n roller to supplement the little R2, one with soft smart wheels.
