I have to say that I greatly appreciate the way you point out the differences and explain to your audience why they might prefer one IEM over another rather than just saying that one is better than the other because you like it better. I used to review a lot of IEM on headfi and took a similar approach. Kudos!

I've seen the EPZ being sold for a while ago but never pulled the trigger as I was hesitant, and never imagined that it would be tuned so good and being "only" a 5BA...fantastic!!! Awesome review and comparison as always

This set is a prime example of why I love natural material with refined color choices, keeping it Classy is important for my vision of ENDGAME iem.

I ordered a customized KP5 set and man, they are beautifully made and they sound sooo good. I have the 530 on my radar. Maybe next sale!!!

Finally received mine last evening. It is indeed a hidden gem. Just enough sparkle and air to bring home the details without being fatiguing. I've tried it on several sources HiBy RS6, Cayin RU7 and Shanling UA5, it is good with all of them. The bass is satisfying even though it is not real deep and boomy.

Another fantastic review, Tony. I was strongly considering the L8S, but I might give this a go after hearing your thoughts. As always, much appreciated. RESPECT!

Mine arrived today. I AM BLOWN AWAY by these, especially for the price. I just listened to "AIR" and "AIIR" by SAULT and the 530 absolutely nailed it! HIGHLY REC'D!

After getting the EPZ Q5 more out of curiosity due to its similar design to the Meze Advar and finding it actu8is a great DD punching well above it's price I chatted with the store and they recommended I check out your Video. Now I Have the 530 on its way to my collection. Great review I'll check back in when my set arrives ❤

@@sujayp11 No. I bought it as soon as Tony reviewed this and it was the "normal" price at that time, probably because it wasn't popular at that moment. He mentioned that it used to be more. My guess is as soon as they saw it becoming more popular, they raised the price back up to what they would prefer to sell them for. I think I just got really lucky with the timing!

Sr8 & penon XAE are both superb and amazingly complementary sets. Now before I even consider getting more sets, I ask myself, can they compete with SR8 & 10th AE... it's a great way to save 💰 😊

@@deltazero6 That is very reassuring! The SR8 covers most grounds for me and is absolutely amazing. I imagine the 10th will fill the remaining sounds I'm after with the DD bass and EST treble. Don't think I'll be looking for the "next thing to buy" for a while at this point

Hey Akros, great review as always! I like the idea of the pantheon of market breaker iem, as you are saying sa6, 530, sr8. I believe that means that for the time being you consider them being worth their price in their bracket and that gets me excited to try any of them. However now that I'm thinking of splurging on the SR8 (and I know it's still worth its price) which one would go for if you had to take only one for the day? I do listen to very similar music as you, all in all I love the sound of strings enveloping the space together with vocal and deep rumbly basses. Is there one of them you find so musical or fun that you would take it over an "overall" better one even if it has flaws (if you find one special as in one that really just hits your HRTF and you hear something in a surreal way)?

Uffff that's a tough one to answer. Anyone of these has a unique magic, but SA6mk2 and 530 are the ones that suprised me the most..... Guess it's the tonality that captured my attention!

It's more about if you want a good all BA set or not. The 530 and P8 are both excellent... difficult to pick an out right winner

Neon Pro is very very good. I would say that you now have a few more sets to choose that are equally as good. SA6mk2 is more polished detail , more musicaly organic ....NP more Soundstage and energetic. SoundRhyme SR8 easy listening with super engaiging Mids. EPZ 530 a very organic sound....very mystical. Penon Turbo.....Bass monster but always very musical.

Wow! these small descriptions helps a lot. and the sets you've mentioned are all good based on what i've read these past weeks. How about supernova, and I believe you'll have your aurora set, altho I extended my budget to 700, if sa6mk2 and aurora which is both in 600 range is good enough, i'll be more happy.

Ufffff that's a tough one....they are both excellent.....EST has insane bass....and the upper mids and treble are top notch. EPZ is such an epic all BA set..... honestly I don't know what you listen too, but if you don't need crazy bass , although there's plenty in the EPZ I think I'd go EPZ.....simply because it's a 5BA set that behaves like many 8 or 10 BA sets

I tend to listen to bassy pop music with female vocals, Billie Eilish, Ava Max, and Lorde for some examples if that changes anything. I've had a bunch of friends hype up and rec the 530, but they also recommended the EST and i've been looking into getting either of them, just haven't been able to fully settle on one of them.

How does it compare to the epz 320 in the mids?

Looks like this iem has been on the market for over 2 years. So they had to reduce the price to be competitive with other iem's with 5 drivers

Yes the price had to be adjusted to today's market , but the issue isn't even that....it's the fact that no one even gave it a second look. If you consider when it was launched it was priced equal to the competition. RSV is 700 us almost and let me just say outright it's not better..... if anything I actually think the EPZ beats it in many aspects....namely engagement..... technicalities Fair enough they are two different tuning styles , each excellent In it's own thing....but the EPZ is truly a hidden gem!

They are tuned differently, but there is more similarities between them than one would initially think. The 530 trades a little of technical abilities for a little more fun, so ultimately you have the same situation as with NP and Supernova although I would say the similarities are much more in this case. Also the fact the 530 costs a good 200 to 250.usd less makes it in my opinion a very solid choice to the.Super

I hope that you someday change you format in a more organized explanation of the item. Said that these epz look interesting, i ve already serial and vortex (and the cheao terrific tripowin piccolo, with better cable) and i had bad experience with isn h50 and in general with all ba, but could worth to try again with ba... I would like to pay less though as it an almost unknown brand

They are both very good.....the 530 will be perhaps a little more balanced out ....I say perhaps because the Turbo with no bass enhancement is also very balanced out. Now where the Turbo is an animal is in the bass quantity department.... depending on what you listen too you.might appreciate all that energy!!
