Mam my cousin brother work on decorating bangle and epoxy resin is used for the polishing. Prepared epoxy from market is quite expensive so that I want to known the whole process of making epoxy resin from epichlorohydrin and Bis-phenol A at a home if possible . Please also tell about process for making harder if you know. Thank you.

high mechanical strength and lignin replacement rate of lignin-based vitrimers were successfully synthesized by gradually replacing DGEBA with glycidyl ether of lignin. The mechanical properties of the lignin-based epoxy vitrimers can be tuned by different ratios of glycidyl ether of lignin and DGEBA, the Young’s modulus and tensile strength of those vitrimers can reach up to 2.00 GPa and 46.8 MPa, respectively. It's worth noting that the tensile strength and elongation at break were 39.5 MPa and 5.81 % when the lignin replacement rate was 100 %. All the lignin-based epoxy vitrimers exhibit excellent self-healing, reprocessing and shape memory property. The crack widths of the vitrimers were repaired over 80 % in just 5 min at 160 ℃, the tensile strength can reach up to 97 % healing efficiency after being hot reprocessed. The great properties of lignin-based epoxy vitrimers indicate that they can be used as renewable alternatives for bisphenol A epoxy vitrimers.

CAUTION! Pots of curing epoxy can get hot enough to emit hazardous fumes and ignite combustible materials nearby. Place pots of mixed epoxy in a safe and ventilated area, away from works and combustible materials. Dispose of the solid epoxy mass only after it has completely cured and cooled. Follow federal, state, or local disposal regulations

The term "epoxy", "epoxy resin", or "epoxide" (Europe), α-epoxy, 1,2-epoxy, etc. refers to a broad group of reactive compounds that are characterized by the presence of an oxirane or epoxy ring. This is represented by a three-member ring containing an oxygen atom that is bonded with two carbon atoms already united in some other way.  Hence, the presence of this functional group defines a molecule as an epoxide - where the molecular base can vary widely resulting in various classes of epoxy resins. And they are successful because they offer the diversity in molecular structure that can be produced using the same chemical method.
Mam in the formulation of epoxy resin , at which temparature and which presence of catalyst epoxy resin reaction take place .

Warm 24-30°C but don't below 22°C . No dips in temperature during first 24 hrs. Anionic catalyst tertiary amine or imidazole. Or cationic catalyst boron tri fluoride complex can be used.

Depending on the degree of polymerization (n), it may be liquid (n 1.5). The epoxy polymers can react with different types of chemical group, such as amines, anhydrides, isocyanates, phenol, and others
