I actually do epoxy and when you say its safe you make it seem like everyone can do it but really its not because it's more for calm people that don't make messes and people with patients because it take a full 24 hours to do and it makes a chemical bond as soon as part A epoxy and part B epoxy touch each other and they get VERY VERY VERY HOT. It also has a very strong smell to some people and people that cant handle smoke will most likely not be able to do it because they will need a gas mask and that is very heavy and it takes a long time just to design a epoxy project.

It really depends on what kind of resin you are using. Low viscosity resin doesn't get that hot. But it takes too long to get done sometimes over 24 hours.
