Oh my gosh! Thank you for this info!! As a no where near know it all, I always assumed acrylic paint could replace the pastes; alcohol ink could replace dyes; and, of course, the super fine glitters could do what micas do if I just used more. NO!!!! I am thrilled to have found this video to humble my overly proud know-nothing mindset. Lol! Thank you so much for making this.

Thanks Callie!! ❤️ Great video! Thanks for showing us how they are different etc. very helpful!! I have some of these colors. I just got cobalt blue mica, blue colorant & Black dye. Can’t wait to use them. I need to get some gold. I thought the music volume was fine, except when you were doing the unmolding. The volume on your voice seemed to be a little quiet. Can’t wait for your next video. 😊❤️🎄

I’m glad you liked it! Yes, try the gold! It’s beautiful! So I used a camera and mic for most the video, and a phone to record the unmolding, that’s why it sounds quieter. I’ll work on making sure the volume levels all sound good! Thank you for watching! ❤️💕

@@GlazedEpoxy I will try the gold, I’m sure it is beautiful 🤩😊 I’m trying to figure out how to deal with micro-bubbles- even though I’m following all steps, while doing tumblers. Keep up the great work!! ❣️💖

Thank you so much for this great video. I have only a little suggestion, the music was too loud. Maybe without music would be more enjoyable and easy to follow you Now I’ll start making some color combinations. Take care 🌷

Hi, I need to use the mica metallic powders on false nails for a project. Can you pls advise me on that? How to apply...can I use the proxy on false nails? I don't need the nails on the body, i need them to be used as sequins!

That sounds fun! So you can use a makeup sponge or eyeshadow sponge applicator to buff the mica powder on! Then I would just do a clear nail polish, the epoxy self levels and wants to run off the side, I’ve tried it before lol. But I would love to see this project when it’s done, it sounds so cool! 😊

Yes! A lot of people use alcohol inks in resin, you can drop it into it in molds, or even use it on tumblers! ☺️

A good tutorial for people just learning the difference between the different colourants. However, I found the music playing over top of your voice to be an irritant. I can turn down music I don’t care for if there’s no talking, but in this case I had to leave it on. In fact, I mostly could do without the music at all. Tastes in music vary, just as in other art forms.

At 13:30 I hear a baby whining please don’t tell me ur doing this in the same area as a baby the epoxy has fumes even if u can’t smell them and fumes are toxic and can cause serious health problems u obviously aren’t using a mask and that’s ur choice but a child doesn’t get that choice please read warning labels on your epoxy I gurentee it says to wear protection and not inhale fumes and to work in well ventilated area and to keep away from children definitely am not subscribing to this channel
