The arabic (بِسْمِ ٱللَّٰهِ ٱلرَّحْمَٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ - bismi ʾllāhi ʾr-raḥmāni ʾr-raḥīmi) was written on the invitation to the ceremonial awarding of Immanuel Kant's doctorate. The Basmala is usually translated as: In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.

Also see the front page of his PhD. He wrote "Bismillah" on the top.
