Or at least that's what people duped by Aquino claim. In reality, the COS was always non-theistic. The Satanic Bible even explicitly says that all gods are the invention of man. They didn’t realize LaVey was an atheist. LaVey never claimed to be an atheist and that wasn’t the reason. The real reason why the original left was because LaVey wanted to exchange donations for degrees in the church and he pretty much told them if you don’t like it you can fk off. LaVey should be respected in the ToS but this was the disagreement that caused the split.

The Church of Satan is strictly non-theistic and only uses Satan as a metaphor. Christians however are profoundly ignorant liars and never do any actual research.

So let me get this straight...because there's no better way to spread the message of love and peace for all mankind worldwide then by calling it the church of Satan? SMH

Sammy was on the Oprah show before he died and he talked about all this stuff but he explained he had a Christian mother who had prayed for him all his life and that he had returned to God and renounced satanism and the lifestyle that he had lived. If anyone can find this show he was on please let me know where to find it. I feel it was scrubbed especially since Oprah agreed with the church of Satan teachings. One thing the guy doing this podcast left out about COS teachings is that they teach man is his own God. The same lie from the garden of Eden."you shall be like God".
