Stripe is to visually identify when steering wheel is straight and center. Used in Racing. It has nothing to due with hiding the seam

I actually bought new tires just a few months ago! I went with/ BFGoodrich All-Terrain T/A like OEM. They are 315/70/17. Basically a 33x12 if I remember correctly.

I stopped watching when he said the stripe just covers a seam or something….
