COE (Army Corps of Engineering Campground) in Florida is a special way to camp as it on the water and the simple fact that Florida has only 3 COE parks in the state. A perfect place for a lay-over when traveling to or from the Florida Keys. We had booked site #34 join us for a look around the park and tour of the great sights and views.

Your very welcome. I find this to be so useful and so easy to use. We just visited a COE in Kentucky. looking forward to hitting up more of these parks next Spring/Fall.
Love small campgrounds. That is a huge site. COE parks are so historical , educational and beautiful. Looks like you had a wonderful time. Thank you for sharing. Mary 💞 Fred

Just under 2.5 hr drive from us Dan, there is another one slightly closer.
We live about an hour away from Ortona and go 4-5 times a year. it is quiet and relaxing. We have seen the bunnies, but also, deer, wild hogs, coyotes, eagles, osprey, gators, and iguanas. Love it there.
