A bit of a tip on alpha and beta armor, alpha tends to give more specific buffs that pair well with each other, and beta usually gives you a smaller buff with jewel spaces so you can combine and match them as you want or need. At the start, because of the lack of actual useful jewels, I'd recommend getting mostly alpha armor and just sticking the limited jewel spaces you get with whatever you have, good hunting!

Wanted to say that I love your thumbnail design. The style with you including your own art is amazing and looks awesome! The structure of your videos is also quite good and I enjoy watching every single one! Tip: Certain weapons do certain types of damage. For example the chargeblade does slicing damage, this allows you to cut tails. However if you use a different weapon like the hammer which does blunt damage you are able to stun monsters and break horns.

Charge blade can stun as well with phial damage!

​@TREE3301 Cutting Blunt Raw damage. The only things God's greatest weapon is missing. Is a GUN. And I guess piercing. (Think Lance has that where it will prioritize the better weak point if it's dealing with multiple at the same time?)

MHW is my all time favourite game, but MAN the Zorah sieges are a real slog to get through. I've been in end-game for so long I've forgotten how truly mid they were LMAO. I've thoroughly been enjoying this play through, seeing you grow and learn as a hunter has truly been such a fun ride, your editing is really good, and the thumbnail art is so charming, I really adore it! Keep up the killer work!

Upon my darkest day at the darkest hour, I see tree post a video. "Has he found it?! Has he seen the light?!" I ask myself in desperation. I open the video, and to my horror I say "NO, no he has not yet found the light, he has not guided this lost lamb out of the darkness. He still isnt PLAYING FUCKING GREATSWORD!!!!"

I honestly wouldn't recommend it as a starter weapon, as much as I'd like to see it get used more. It's a very slow and complicated weapon, despite what seems to be a simple nature. Granted, he's been using charge blade, but I still don't think GS would be a great starter weapon, especially with how few guides are actually out there for it.

Whenever you see the monster move sideways then drool, the one you always think of as "opening" like in 9:19, you can try using the grappling hook. It can make the opening longer, and give you a free softened part. Since you're prioritizing the savage axe over the SAED, it's beneficial for you to fight the monsters with softened parts. You could also try using the grappling hook when the monster does that thing, then just get off so you'll get a few more seconds of opening instead of a softened part. Try out a lot of things and make your own tactics.

its always fun watching your reactions.. those little things during the Pukei hunt are called Gajalaka and they usually poisen, sleep or paralyz a monster if they (although not always). Other than that.. if you want the tail of the new rath variant go for the tip of the tail. Have fun and seeya on the next one! PS Zohra II its head is usually a bit bugged so yeaa (oha nd are you streaming on yt or Twitch?)

Oh man, seeing you play is bringing so many memories of playing MHW with my brothers and people online. It was so fun, especially the event quests. Getting Dante sword, playing as Garald of Rivia, hunting minature versions of monsters and trying to get some cool looking layered armor. Good times 😊😊😊😊

On a lot of monsters if you break the tail on it with a bladed weapon you can you cut of the the tail and get more parts from the tail so try to aim for the tail

This specific zora quest has a much harder version as an event quest. And imo, it should've been the standard. You actually had to do the things they tell you to do (breaking the cores, fighting nergigante, weakening zora). Plus, a tighter time limit. The standard zora quest is essentially just a really long cutscene.

Yeah the Zora mission is really disliked since its not really a fight, but rather an environmental hazard on a countdown. Good thing is that it hasn't been redone ever since, all the big bosses you just fight and kill em

yo if u like cool combos, i recommend trying dual blades for like 1 mission, they have the coolest anime looking combos known to mankind AND THE HAVE INSANE DPS

I believe what they mean is because the fights are shorter and u can do the optional quest version right after, it becomes a faster way to farm when compared to killing
