I had to push back on a particular feature because it was requiring 3 sprints of extra work due to the complexity of back end integration as well as resource limitation. so when the ask came in I presented with the data of that feature ( Who were using it, how often it was used etc) which were not our target customer for the MVP launch. so instead of saying no at the meeting even tho I knew the ask was not feasible, I first listen to the ask, understand why this ask is coming from this particular team and then I verified my data and response with my SME ( Technical lead) and gave the response on why we cant do it withing given period of time. And if we need to do it we need to get buying from other stakeholders to push the launch timeline further which will require negotiation.
