Watching this podcast, I got an idea for future videos. I, personally, would love to follow the journey of an item... from thrift pick to sale. Thank you, Sonnet! Great advice, especially about not getting caught in the trap of running frequent sales!! I left a location for that very reason. They ran a 20% off the entire mall every Monday and you could set your sales by them 😣 it forced vendors to increase prices to make up for the constant 20% less in sales but then nothing would sell during the week. Customers definitely get conditioned to wait for a sale. I rarely run sales in my current booth. Only after Easter and Christmas. It works out great for me ❤

This was so helpful. I don't have any booths, but I absolutely love making vignettes all through my home, on my enclosed front porch, on my patio and even in my yard as landscape vignettes. When my sister and I go thrifting and we see a booth that has a bare spot, we will take something that looks like it doesn't belong in another area and make a sweet new little vignette. lol. I promise, it's always tasteful . And we always say, "Oh, now that will sale for her" Because we as customers recognize how important it is to look pleasing to the eye and draw us in......just like you said! Thanks for the great advise Sonnet. Another great podcast.

With small areas, if you incorporate textures it will really help it become pleasing to the eyes. 😊

You should get a booth! That way you have an outlet to sell all of your creative items and not clutter up your home. 😂

You make everything sound so easy. I don't have a booth but have done shows. I have definitely learned today not to over stock. I have always tried to get everything out there. Like you said if it's not out it can't sell. I will have to hold back

Great episode jam packed with great tips and tricks. For those viewing the podcast via KZread I am wondering if photos are allowed or would it be too extra to include photos for the visual people- I.e. when you were discussing height, texture, etc. I can remember better visually. 😊😊😊❤

Great podcast! Really good tips. I went into my second booth yesterday, that just opened last week, to fluff and someone stuck their chewed gum on one of my hand painted items! Ugh! People are not kind and some don’t seem to appreciate or understand the time, creativity and money put into hand made/painted items.

Hello I love this episode. Great information. I have a Boothe with mainly wedding gowns. However, my smalls are different ideas for wedding gifts such as dishes, hone deco, kitchen items, etc. I haven't sold any gowns yet. Any suggestions?

do you sell the tucked in greenery separate? I put flowers in my vases but price them separately

Yes, I put a price on everything and sell them all separately. That way the customer can pick and choose what parts of the vignette they want to purchase. 😊
