I really think Laura deserved to be nominated, but Male in a Musical was a tough tough tough category this year, so I (sadly) understand why Corey wasn't nominated.

I know! Especially because the Tonys cut-off date for a show to be nominated was the day after their opening night! I am sad they lacked nominations, but I do understand - tough year!

Guys...I noticed a trend? (don’t know the term) with Tony nominations...the closer the opening date is to the actual Tony nominations announcement, the less nominations the show receives.

well, that's simply because Tony voters can't see the show in time to vote (cut off day and nomination day are not very far apart)

My best friend gets to see Bandstand in June and I'm so jealous! But I'm more jealous of the other tony nominees because Bandstand was robbed of best musical.

yo bandstand was robbed, it deserved best musical and corey deserved best actor.... it was the best show of the 2017 season
