35:12 I had an experience where I woke up in my dark bedroom and could see a vast dark space overlaying the landscape of my dimly lit bedroom. This vast dark space was dark, but at the same time had some sort of ambient light so that I was able to see it. It felt like I was hovering out in space. There was a type of thin ceiling and floor that was like a white and black checkerboard grid that seemed to go on horizontally to infinity. On the top edge of the ceiling and the bottom edge of the floor were these moving "ribbons" that I sensed were some type of energy, they looked like velvet, rich in color and glistening. Their colors were like dark burgundy and purple. They moved along the edge of the floor and ceiling in sinuous patterns, glistening while they moved. The vast dark space had a palpable enormity to it, depth and width that extended infinitely, and was accompanied by a resonating hum that seemed to envelop me. I marveled at this and questioned what was happening. I could still see the dimly lit bedroom wall beyond the imagery and could feel the blankets covering my body, so I do not think I was having an out of body experience (I have never had an OBE). This vision persisted for a minute or so, then faded and all that was left was my dimly lit bedroom. This same experience happened a few days later, again in the morning upon waking in my dimly lit bedroom. This time I woke up my husband and told him that I was seeing the "void" again. He could not see anything, but was able to confirm to me that I was not dreaming. This happened about 10 years ago and it has not happened since. I have wondered if this was the "void" that I have heard about. It was not a negative experience. I was fascinated and marveled at its vastness. It seemed to be filled with potential, which is what came to mind when I saw those ribbons of "energy/electricity" that coursed along the edges. They seemed to be alive. I had not done any mind altering drugs the night before, no alcohol and had a usual great night's sleep. Those experiences seemed to just come out of nowhere. They seemed to be part of other diverse experiences that have sent me on my journey leading me to study consciousness, and I am a completely different person today than where I was back then.

Amazing! I really got thinking about the ideal manifestation of forms characteristic of previous psychedelics experiences I've had, particularly with LSD in which I saw what were symbolic imagery tapered on top of an already surreal perception of my physical reality. What's interesting is the seeming disconnection I have from these symbolic imagery and yet they manifest as if they've been operating my consciousness from an unconscious level. Moreover, I wonder if what the realists, materialists, physicalists miss is a greater emphasis on the nature of the mind as a link or mediator between brain and environment. And from this mediation, all archetypes and ideal forms are born as a way for the mind to represent the stimulus all around the brain. Sort of like there are different phases for information to manifest in the brain. First, the brain could sense, then interpret, then manifest or display to itself. Sort of like a computer program. I don't know, these ideas are very interesting. Thank you, sir!

Is Buddhist Sunyata and Brahman Advaita Vedanta the same? It seems like that. But the experiences are probably kinda different?
