Eddie is really a skillful sidekick/partner/interviewer? (I’m not sure what to call him)...to Dave’s big personality. He is able to not only reign Dave in, but complement him as a back and forth partner in a conversation. I hope Eddie is getting the credit he deserves because he is talented at this job.

Troy's reaction when Dave starts telling him his history with Goodell is great. He has that intrigued look of somebody that's about to spend hours watching Dave Portnoy videos on KZread.

Respect for Dave’s intensity listening to Troy. He’s so engaged and never once interrupted him, even though his mind spins a million miles an hour.

I'd heard of Portnoy vaguely but had no idea about the arrest and the super bowl shenanigans lol. He seemed fairly genuine about not knowing much about the feud

After a rocky first part of the season towards the last 3/4of the season, there’s a giant shift in chemistry within the team. Bruce even acknowledged he just let Tom Brady coach. That’s the variable no one takes into account when the support belichick. Brady made belichick. How many games did belichick game plan where Brady had to come back from behind? Factor that variable. Belichick is easy to game plan against. Look at his record against his former assistants. Brady and welker started the patriots way. The patriots culture. Gym rats, film junkies, constantly running plays in their heads to compliment each other. Belichicks ego got the best of him. Brady? Ego or not. Confident or cocky, Brady is a unicorn. He wills his team. He makes things happen.

Eddie is the man and since he’s come on I’ve become much more interested in the podcasts from barstool in general. His dog walker podcast is an absolute gem, Dave’s an obvious legend. Eddie needs to get more credit for his repoire with Dave and just his podcasts in general

What Troy and Buck misunderstood about the fly overs is that the planes are going to be flying regardless if there is a football game or not. The pilots need practice flying and have to get so many hours seat time per month, per year, etc. So the fly overs are just incorporated into the training. Killing two birds with one stone.
