    @@hajrahc3350 this women taught a conservative version of Islam where women's main role was to stay at home and look after the family. Yet, Zaynab herself was a divorced woman who did not have any children in favour of political activism and public teaching. So she did not practice what she preached.

    If we ever hear about significant Muslim women, it's almost always consistent of a few women from the Prophet's era. Thank you for time skipping to a more recent time and introducing her to us!

    Nada, this al Ghazali woman was a Muslim Brotherhood activist. They tried to assassinate and overthrow the Egyptian government. That is why she was tortured.
