I loved season one and just discovered there are now more seasons. The pacing of this episode is incredibly slow, it really feels like they're dragging it out to fill time somehow.

I'm saying this as just simply one person's opinion. I'm not saying I'm right. I was so riveted by season 1. One of the few times in my life that a piece of media just took hold of me and shook me hard and slapped me in the face with reality. The first episode of season 3 bored the heck out of me cause I don't care one bit about how a journalist comes to some sort of justification about dating a surgeon. But I rolled my eyes and pushed through assuming it would get to the point soon. I couldn't even finish episode 2. Personally, I just don't care about the love story. Like I said, it's only my opinion and maybe most people don't feel this way. Just wanted to share my thoughts. If you want to tackle something as common as apple pie in America and equally, if not more, egregious then season 1, look into the nursing home situation. I had to literally rescue my mother from their for-profit quiet euthanasia system. One geriatric specialist told me the truth about it at the ER that I had to take my mother to after pulling her from the assisted living home that tried to quietly kill her. That system kills thousands every year while they rake in the profits. But people don't care about them as most have been shunted into those facilities by family members who don't want to take care of them anyway.

The thing about this story is more just how flawlessly he could lie to everyone. I'm only on ep 2 but I know the story and what he did was so extreme it's just insane he was able to get away with it for so long. Ted Bundy was actually friends with the crime reporter who was investigating the case of all the women dying at that time. She even heard a description of the subject and thought "hah, that sounds like Ted and even drives the same car as him" O_O ..I think until you meet one of these people you wouldn't know how fully they can suck you in to every lie and make you believe it all. So I figure that's why they're going into detail with the love story - they're trying to explain how she was so utterly duped!

I agree. I don't care about the love story of a woman in her 30s who speaks like a teenager. Season 1 was awesome though.

They made that sounds so dramatic, but lancing an infection is not the same as the plastic tracheas she was helping him put into unsuspecting patients. It never did dawn on the lady that the reason he dated her was so she would lie for him in the media, which she did. So he could get more human guinea pigs. Poor Hannah 😢

My lord, I guess that Tinder experiment was correct, although I unfortunately already knew that as long as a guy is extremely attractive, and has wealth, he can get in anywhere without much work, and no matter how heinous his background, no matter how disrespectful or poorly he treats you, it absolutely doesn’t matter at all! he’s always welcome to ravage. It’s Sad how easy they make it for those of us who are charismatic, have money, and are attractive….smh fish in a barrel.
