I love this podcast! Hearing that Ihuoma stayed at her parents' till she got married always does something for me, cos there's this 'stigma' that comes with still staying with your parents' especially when you're a 'okay' already and of marriageable age...wish she could talk more about how it was for her during that period! Enjoyed this episode a lotttt!

I had a tear watching this because I’ve been really anxious lately. I got pregnant late last year and coming to shop for the baby everything has quadrupled; it has kept me wondering how I’d be able to cater for and give this baby the best. Surely, God will not give you what you can’t handle.

Nice episode, well done. On the breastfeeding aspect, I don't think it's very appropriate to explain or give a suggestion based off our own experiences. The recommendation of 6 months exclusive breastfeeding and supplemental feeding for 2 years if possible is based off years of research, collection of diverse data, etc. We only have knowledge about our experiences and a few people around us and this is still limited compared to the millions of experiences around the world. I also didn't breastfeed as long as I'd desired but I believe breastfeeding has it's place. Even the formula bottles tell us breastfeeding is best for baby. That an alternative is very well researched and efficient, I feel shouldn't replace the ideal where both Mother and baby are up for it. Breastfeeding is natural and of course just expected but doesn't always turn out to be easy, and so I believe that's why health care professionals and experts are now trying to put out more information to help prepare mothers for a successful breastfeeding journey.❤
