The one thing i liked about Jandi's character is that shes quick to fight to defend her friends.

Watching it again this year for the 3rd time. Watched it for the first time in August 2020. Love the drama and really love Kim Hyun Joong! Though all the actors were great.

Has anyone seen any of the other BOF ep. 1 here on KZread? The song jihoo played on the violin in this video is same as Netflix and Viki, but for some reason the two other videos on KZread of ep.1 have him playing a totally different song and i cant figure out why

They chose Jandi just for PR reasons, had they expelled the bullies, it would have made the public happier, but would have upset the relationship of Shinwa with the other rich families.

I saw a short video of BOF and it made me miss them, so here I am for the 3rd time. BOF was my first kdrama 3-1/2 years ago. Kim Hyun Joong became my first k-love.

I think Kim So Eun/Chu Ga Eul or Lee Si Young/Oh Min Ji should've played Geum Jan Di rather then Gu Hye Seon. They are both beautiful compared to Gu Hye Seon especially with those ridiculous face expressions she makes. And what's with stuffing her mouth & talking at the same time? Gross! 🤮 The casting director really messed up this time. 🥴

I don't think they messed up. I mean I wasn't happy about her at first but Gu Hye Seon is pretty, maybe not as much as some others, but they gave her that ugly haircut and I understand it was all for a reason. Most of the rich girls at that school are pretty, long hair, well dressed, mannered (except for being snobs and bullies) by well mannered I mean they were all taught etiquette though their personality lacked. Jandi I believe they wanted her to be very ordinary, not ugly but plain looking with that haircut. I couldn't stand the way she eats and agree it was disgusting, but I imagine it was part of her role to appear as opposite as possible from the rest of the students and even more so from Junpyo, who is the richest one there. Opposites attract is exactly the case with Junpyo and Jandi.
