@@g1a18 I certainly do! But also invigorated. The peacefulness I get from particularly holy people in general, but the way that Dominicans word things is so clear and packed full of meaning that it makes me excited! Like I’ve never known anything until I hear them speak. I think that’s due to their intense devotion to God and training of the mind, they’re special like that!

I have ordered the "super salad" too, Fr Bertrand! Except that I was an adult who knew very well about the existence of soup or salad before a meal, and I kept saying "yes" everytime she clarified, which was about twice 🤣🤣🤣 We were both very confused with each other. It became a good story...

It's been a rough night at work so I am very pleased to have this podcast to be able to finish out part of my night with. The high here tomorrow (well today, by the standards of people who respect calendrical days) is a whopping 1 degree Farenhieght, so consider me jealous of your unseasonably warm February in Switzerland. (It is not supposed to get above zero this weekend. I dread going outside.)

Prayer has been a focus this past year of pandemic.

Oh but you do have a big avalanche coming to DC

God will give me the grace to do the penance that He desires me to do that will bring me closer to Him. I've always tried the muscle through what I thought would be a good idea for penance without asking God what he thought. I'll take that to prayer and hopefully He will let me know what he wants for me. Thank you for a wonderful podcast and God bless you.

Nice tune, I think 'I'm a Dog" (with a touch in my mouth for my Lord. Making Noise while I can, setting fire while I got earth...). Makes me think the most precious thing I have is time. So giving up time for me to give to others, like visiting or phoning elderly in assisted living may be a penance.

Thank you. I am rather sloppy in reading the Summa . I have decided to read two articles o day. I am on second part of second part. The presentations by the OPS are a basis for gray matter training. Yeah lent and Summa. Page 1163 and counting.
