Episode 02: Computational Thinking

In this video we’ll familiarise ourselves with the key concepts and practices of computational
thinking. We’ll reflect on how CT can be offered across curriculum and offer cross-curricular
examples. Covering decomposition, abstraction, pattern recognition and algorithms - and how the concepts of computational thinking can be related back to everyday, real-life activities. We’ll learn more about tinkering, creating, persevering, debugging, collaborating..

I finished my Master's in Computer Science and I am watching it anyway. It is so interesting how you describe those topics, that children could understand them. When I have kids, I know what I will buy them :)

Real quality content here! You have great relatable examples and put a lot of thought into this. I wish teachers would always be able to connect familiar knowledge with new concepts in such a beautiful way. I tip my hat!

Thank you! It's so nice to get comments - that's the downside of making content for kids, KZread doesn't allow comments (which makes sense), but makes me miss the community aspect :)

Thank you! I think there are the auto-generated captions, no? If not, I think I can turn captioning on for all the videos if people want to do it
