Episode 003 | 8 Cycling Hand Signals You Need to Know

Спорт

That's right, today we're tipping you off to the 8 hand signals you need to know before your next (or first) group ride:
1. Stopping
2. Slowing
3. Turning
4. Potholes
5. Gravel
6. Lane Blockages
7. Train Tracks
8. Pull Through
Why hand signals? To be honest, we're not sure; but, just because someone decided signaling would be the universal language of cycling doesn't mean using your hands is always the best way to communicate.
Know these signs, but use your noggin. And above all, keep yourself and those around you safe by communicating effectively-whatever that may look (or sound) like.

Thanks for the refresher! I don't do the finger wag for train-tracks or other "linear" disruptions - instead I swing my whole lower-arm at the elbow like I'm doing the robot. That one's fun.

Brilliant video, dude. Just wanted to let you know that I'm gonna share the video link in an article that I'm writing. Hope to get more traffic into your channel. Pun intended.

Signals are a very obvious way to communicate, it's very difficult to get them confused, it's easy to hear something else when someone uses their voice. Great video though :)

Thanks for the useful info. The video would be better if you talk slower and keep the signal longer on the video. Everything is too fast.
