Just because you can slaughter 8 hens per person don't mean you should. Especially pintails. I know you didn't necessarily, but you damn sure do. There are plenty of birds in those bunches to be picky....but it's not just you guys, it's most guides....be the first ones bitchin when we lose our pintail season here in the USA

That's because the resource isn't unlimited. Most have became so immune to the hen slaughter for the piles that's all that matters. I know most early canada season is a pintail massacre massacre to the spinners...Ben Webster admits it also. Ya, you have no pintail hens in this particular hunt but still 20 or so mallard hens. You have plenty if pintail hen slaughters in other video. But hey it's a cut throat world so common ethics be damned. Any true waterfowl worth his salt would never shoot hen pintails on purpose. How about educating folks you hunt with to identify their target...that's the key to preserving a species in need of our help....

Man I’m not sure what your getting at me for. If you think I don’t tell everyone to shoot drakes you are wrong. You clearly don’t have much idea how guiding goes. Most people we take have barely hunted ducks or even at all. It’s just part of it. No need to be getting mad at me for doing my job. Does it suck… sure but it’s hard to control guys that barely know what a Drake or hen is. Don’t come onto my channel and come at me with this crap. 60 out of the 80 birds being drakes is pretty dang good for guys that hunt ducks 4 times a year.

@chris it’s different when you’re guiding man. If it was just Cole and a couple of his buddies you could make the case that with this many birds you should try to pick out drakes. 75% drakes is pretty good and it’s awesome to get to see something a lot of waterfowl hunters will never get to experience.
