4:11 label your chests with item frames! 4:20 this is an enchanting table! 5:11 Don't forget an anvil! 5:30 grow plants underwater! 5:59 this is a trapdoor fence! 6:16 animals can't escape this! 6:28 they can't get out! 6:39 exit the sphere with an elevator! 6:58 build a 1x1 tube to the surface! 7:23 use your elevator to exit.

But the zombies will stop at the hole,but the zombies can push each other into the hole,then they can follow you and could kill you in your hidden base.

It's inside a building, a lighthouse with front doors. Sure, if you leave the doors of your MC house open at all times, I wonder, how you'd be able to even survive your first night that way? And if you're playing on a server with "friends", that constantly prank you by letting zombies into your house, then, dunno, maybe don't play with such friends? I can't find another scenario, where zombies could easily invade your house to get into your secret base. With that being said, I'm not a big fan of the "toss items on a pressure plate" mechanisms, especially when their retrieving isn't the most forward option. I mean if you don't retrieve the item immediately before your fall, then there's a 2 by 2 gap between you and that item. Jumping over that gap just to close the gap? Who in their sanity would ever do such thing?

Make the tick of the repeaters to 4 and collect the item before you fall. That way it'll automatically close.

Hey guys did you know, that if you put build a 1 block down hole x any length and height, place string in the hole and put carpet over the string, zombies won’t chase you over it? You can have an open door and mobs won’t walk over it cuz it doesn’t count as a full block
