Welcome to Day 2 of Drift Matsuri 2024 at SA Garden Track! We start the day setting up our Nissan 350z and waiting for other drivers to arrive. Once our car is ready, we capture some stunning cinematic shots of drifting and do a few practice runs before changing tires. I manage to convince some friends to join me for tandem runs, creating beautiful smoke-filled scenes on the track.
Midway, our car overheats and the clutch stops working, but we quickly troubleshoot and fix the issue. However, we encounter a spark plug problem and, without any spares, have to let the car cool down to assess further. Despite these setbacks, we resolve the issues and get back on track for more exciting drifting and tandems.
Along the way, I meet some new talented drifters and reconnect with old friends eager to revive their drifting passion. It’s heartening to see the drift community grow and more people join us in promoting motorsports. As the day wraps up, we load our car onto the tow truck, ready to head back to Karachi in the morning.
