Epic Running of the Goats

Yahhhoooooo!!!!! To celebrate to end of the 2021 kidding season and the birth of 60 healthy, hopping cuties, we started today with an epic run that ended in the kids' favorite treat...mama's milk! 33 bucklings and 27 doelings, 22 mamas, and 6 retired goats are featured in this video! Catch a look at the end of the video of our newest arrivals...triplets who were born last night to Claire on her birthday! They are named Hershey, Maya (chocolate has roots in Mayan culture), and Costa Chica in celebration of National Chocolate Ice cream Day! Make every day worth celebrating farm friends. And thanks for celebrating this kidding season's beautiful arrivals with us again this year. The first three boys leave today. Radish's kids are all going together to an awesome home as neutered pets. Their human mama has been waiting for goats for a long time. There will be kids around into August of you want to come see us and them 11-5 on Saturdays!

How do you ever get any work done? I couldn't stop watch this all day. Nothing but pure smiles. Thanks for sharing these little wonders.

And there they go, over the Chair - whoops! Nearly a faller but he made a good recovery and off again over the Chair for a fourth time, all over with a few stragglers. And there's a pit stop for refreshments. Well - the runners will all sleep well tonight and no steward's enquiries. An excellent Grand National all round

They aint, they are quite rude to their kids and its a fight for them to suck on their teets
I so love that chorus of little voices! To me they sound as if they are yelling "Maaaaa!" Especially as they get to the mothers. Love the happy tails and vigorous head butts as they nurse. Your videos are the sunshine in my life, thank you for sharing. And your live cams which help when I can't sleep. Last night I watched Claire😊❤.

Animals and nature heal me. Just want to say...so sorry about the losses, it is hard for caring people like you who love all your animals. I feel for you. It is a part of life, we say goodbye to some and welcome others into the world. Your animals are so lucky to live with you in your gentle, humane farm! 😊🙏❤

Is it weird that I cried big tears watching this? I just discovered your channel and I love it! Even if it makes me cry from seeing the joy & love beaming from these precious goats. My heavens! The whole herd takes those hay bales as a challenge. Some may lag behind, but the whole darn bunch go over both ways!! And then there are the zoomies looking for mama and breakfast. Then there is mama and her precious little ones. So adorable. ❤❤❤❤❤❤
I see this as "the running of the comedians". They're all telling each other their latest jokes and they simply can't contain their laughter. It's adorable and much needed these days! Thank You!!

@@SunflowerFarmCreamery Why don't you tell the people the truth... that you tear the babies away from the moms so humans can drink the goat milk or make it into cheese, that the male babies are slaughtered, used for meat or just killed, executed...of course the goats are beautiful, joyous, wonderful to watch, but tell the truth. You're making money off of these goats in more ways than one, with this channel and all the thumbs up

The last precious babies are just adorable. So cute to see the one little kid trying to leap over the bales and slipping down between them before freeing itself. Their little bleats make me happy. So dear. Some of those mothers look like they are still pregnant. Claire’s sister looking over the top of the stall to check on her and her three new kids. Those kids are so full of energy.

Oh, they are SO cute! I didn't realize how rough they are on poor Mom when feeding. The last two little newborns snuggling at the end are real heart breakers - they all are really.😍

Yippee indeed!!! So, on our end we will be calling the triplets Salted Carmel, Chocolate Chip, and of course French Vanilla (the one who looks most like mom). Thanks to all of you at the farm for bringing about the safety and security you provide to all of these youngins and their goat families as well as seeking out new family farms for each and every precious one. The miracle times 60.
It’s amazing how each baby goat knows who their mother is. They don’t stop at the first goat to nurse.

Having watched goat birthing and nursing videos before, yes, they do go to their individual mamas. Like many other animals, it's all by scent and sound. It's amazing how that works, really, considering all those kids running around. It honestly looks like the after-school chaos of human kids going home in the afternoon. 😅 And I say that with the most loving intentions towards the human preschool age kids I've met so far in my job. 🥰 Like goat kids wanting to run around, human kids are no different.
