Note that the bridge at the Tana River is the meeting point of Murang'a,Embu, Machakos and Kirinyaga. The river also changes name from Sagana (Thagana) to Taana (Kamba/Mbeere pronunciation of Thagana)

Bluepost hotel lies on the boarder between Kiambu and Muranga counties where part of it is in Kiambu and the other Muranga and it belongs to the immediate former president....The name bluepost actually means a place where two rivers meet and these two rivers become chania river which feeds Thiwasco which in turn purifies the water and channels it to Thika dwellers in form of piped water.....Bluepost hotel is also home to Chania falls.
