This has always been my favorite cover song from liliac, Sam's guitar 🎸 work is impeccable. The difference in his and Metallicas version is they sped up playback and Sam played it straight

The factory you see made the riser for Abby's platform for free if they would do the video there . While this tribute is magnificent they did a total "LIVE" encore performance including Aiden Fisher who did the fast part in "Stanger Things ". They went backstage to gather themselves , then returned to the stage with purpose and totally rocked the house . A MUST see .

I'm so glad that you have recognised early in your Liliac reactions that #1 Melody is not trying to emulate any other singer , but is totally unique and #2 Liliac as a band although keeping to the original intent of the song put their own flavour to it ,in this case it was the use of the keyboard taking the place of Mettalica's second guitar for the solos . I particularly like this performance because you can hear every instrument clearly, something that is not always the case , and as a family band it's good for their efforts to be recognised, as it's usually only Melody and Sam that get the accolades .,on this tribute cover they all get to shine , especially Abigail who absolutely smashes her drums continuously for a full 91/2 minutes . Another band that does a great cover of a Metallica song is The Hu performing "Sad But True." They're a Mongolian folk metal band that incorporates traditional and modern instruments along with throat singing.

They also have a live video of this song from a show with guest guitarist Aiden Fisher . It's done more like the original and is also awesome !
