Thank you :)
Can't believe some people complain about the massively loud noise when using metal gears, after hearing this crawler.
The montage with the music shows how good your photography is getting. You might get a call from the Discovery Channel!

Pretty cool RC,cool mudding session
Good looking truck. the change of wheels really helped. Nice bit of crawling fun!
Absolutely loved the slowmo footage! I actually enjoy the racket it makes, can't explain why though :D

Cool, Phil - the slomo shots in the mud and water at the end were epic! You picked a great day for it, hope you had your wellies on! I've been watching your vids, mate, not leaving comments as I see you have your hands full with the hundreds of comments on most videos! You are doing very nicely, Sir - keep up the good work, dude! :O)

No prob's Mark, it does get a little hectic at times! I bearly get time to watch stuff at the moment. Going too slow down a little after Xmas... catch a breath haha. Hope you are keeping well 😎
Only reason you got stuck, is cuz you had that ford body on there. 😋
Awesome looking truck. I got the 407 and 417, but I really like look of 410, so will have to pick one up. Great vid

fair play bud that was epic footage in the mud n water 😃👍
Looks like good fun
I remember when my 410 was stock, then it went to 1.5 swampier tires, then became a dually, now it’s running on 1.9’s with a 55T motor and a 25 kg servo up front

I'm a huge Tamiya collector. But I dont have a High Lift or a Mountaineer in my collection. So I think I may have to buy both. Lol

Yeah, looks better than it performs in stock form though haha
You need to get yourself an ESS sound unit in that to mask the noisey gears. Otherwise another brilliant video as always mate
Great bit of mud bogging! Not sure I could put up with the hours of cleaning afterwards though!

5 mins with a hose pipe and some GT85... leave for 48hrs in a nice warm house... good to go lol 😅
The body looks great the new tires fit better than originals, but it must be a way to modified the ground clearance
You really like getting your trucks dirty, don't you Phil.
With that low torque you could do a video comparing the clones in a tug of war? What do you recon?
Hi sir, what did you do to waterproof the electronics?
Awesome montage and slo-mo at the end! You should have taken pictures of when it was muddyest! You could have them printed on clear adhesive backed vinyl (the mud)and sell the sh** out of them!

Thanks mate. Yeah, would look good on Vinyl
do these clones have tamiya style lights? or is that an optional kit? also how compatible are the parts between tamiya and hg- ? thanks in advance
I can remember seeing the Tamiya release & the price 😳💯 lol. That being said I bought the clone & a few minor upgrades. Cheers 🍻

Can you please help me my controllers are reverses and yes I can just switch the reverse button but its not accurate when using lights and engine sound as the reverse is forward and forward is reverse
Tomley how do u clean it?
What mm size is the wheel nuts? What size wheels aftermarket fit?
Very nice. It seemed to have held up quite well to the abuse. Any idea why the gears were slipping on the high gear?

Just a poor servo... and not set up well
Can you put the bruiser clone driveshafts on this to remove that massive pumpkin?
I really enjoy your channel! Can you give me the exact size of those wheels and tires you put on the truck?
What is the music when its doing the mud in slow mo ?
Is the original Tamiya model that loud?
It sounds like a damn sewing machine.. What wheels and tires did you fit to it? Apologies if it was mentioned and I overlooked it. Thanks.
nice job.what type of tyres you use for this rc is the proline hyrax 1.9 class1 106mmx36mm?

They probably didn't change anything (other than 4wheel steering)from previous versions with other bodys.
Not a fan of the 'Raptor' tailgate, not exactly period correct.
But THAT NOIZE!

Yeah... really not nice!
I got this one but ain't gonna give it mud bathe
Why can't these companies clone the TRX-4 instead?
It looks as good as TAMIYA one, but gear sound pretty annoying..
I’m on top 30
🤣🤣 " Maybe hum or sing while watching." To me it sounds like maybe the gear mesh is too tight somewhere in that thing. It's a good looking truck but I can't stand how far that transmission hangs down. Just that alone keeps me from ever buying one
@TomleyRC

Yeah, the gears are pants.... I don't remember the Tamiyas being quite as loud.
Not very good performance to crawling. This is more toy unfortunately.

Slipping gears, noisy gearbox, 35 years outdated design thus getting stuck on anything bigger than 1 inch, useless (original) wheels, what actually make this ‘great trail truck’ ??
@TomleyRC
3 жыл бұрын
The locked diffs and better wheels tyres. It’s a good trail truck as long as you wear ear defenders 😉👍
