Started riding there in 1976, and stopped when I moved in 2003! There's more riding here in Montana where I moved, but nothing like Clear Creek!!! Miss the Woops!!!

Rode there in eighties and nineties before closure. Looks the same, absolute hoot!

I mostly ride SoCal Hills because it's right in my backyard. I have been to clear creek a few times. It's different and also fun.

There are just crazy hillclimbs there. Until it gets wet and your tires pick up so much sticky mud you can barely move. I once got separated from my group and got lost, ugh!

Best place to ride in California. Grew up hill climbing at Carnegie hills. I moved to TN. a year ago. Miss it alot, surprised it's not all burned up.

If you think this is the best you need to come to the mecca of riding. The SoCal Hills! Clear Creek is fun but nothing like the SoCal hill in my back yard.

@@claytonhertz251 those roads are rough. Potholes everywhere. Another con is that there aren’t any toilets out there because it’s basically abandoned. I was sh**ing myself the other day when I was over there. Lmao

It sends you to Coalinga road on google maps. Is that area blocked off? Are there any other entrances that are open? If they’re all blocked off, then it makes sense to go through new idria.

Dude people posting videos likes ruins it for everyone.
