yea its epic and all but its just meant to be epic, if you know something about dogfighting you would know the pilots are actually kinda bad ones, and there scissor maneuvers where HORRIBLE ... and the for the planes... dont even get me started that spitfire is SO much more maneuverable than that Bf 109 but the 109 is WAY faster so... they got there advantages and disadvantages but this makes them look equal when there not BUT --- your right it looks cool, it looks really cool ps: if ya wanna see a real dogfight here (skip to 36:40) kzread.info/dash/bejne/Z3WFq5OiYNq7laQ.html

andrew weekly the 109 could outmaneuver a spit if it had enough energy. The Bf109 wasn't a heavy aircraft until late into the war and this model is most definitely an early war. Yes the spit outmaneuvers the 109 in a turn fight but when it comes to energy fighting the 109 has the spit beat

but this is ether a V8 or V9 variant which i think was heaver because of the extra ammo in the wings for additional guns but we can all agree the 109 should of had that spit over that lake

For all the people who flood this video's comment section over the nitty gritty over details of this video, I would like to answer any questions and silence any confusion. I'll start with the aviation nerds. The Supermarine Spitfire was in all likelihood the Mk VII, as the Mk IV never actually entered service, and the Mk III does not fit the armament illustration. The Mk VII entered service in the summer of 1942 as a response to the threat of high-altitude German aircraft bombardment of major English industrial and population hubs, as well as the newly-introduced German Focke-Wulf Fw-190. Thus it had a higher rate of climb, more versatile armament options (which correlate to the aramament used in the video), more horsepower, and increased range compared to its predecessors. The Messerschmitt Bf 109 in this video was a Bf 109 E 4 model, matching all of its appropriate illustrations of armament. The notion that it was a Bf 109 F or G can be disproven by observing the tail struts on the horizontal stabilizers. The Bf 109 E 4 model was introduced in the summer of 1940 at the cusp of the Battle of Britain, and was being obsolete at the time of this video. It was replaced by newer, more powerful versions beginning in the fall of 1942 and continuing through 1943. The two-bladed propeller seen later in the video is very likely an artist error. Now for you geography nerds. Considering the only high mountains in western Europe at the time of this video, only 3 areas that this dogfight could have taken place are the Caledonian Mountains of Norway or the Alps, or the Pyrenees. Every other mountain range in western Europe is too eroded to be able to have the sharp characteristics of mountain peaks. Any notion that it took place over the Pyrenees can be disproven because the Pyrenees are in Spain and Spain was neutral in the war. Also, any notion that the dogfight was over the Alps can be discredited due to the fact that the Spitfire had only 500 miles of range. One could argue that it was launched from a Royal Navy aircraft carrier in the Mediterranean, which could explain a way to access the Alps, but the camo style is not Royal Navy. The only other candidate for the location of the dogfight had to have been over the Caledonian Mountains of Norway. The Bf-109 E was being phased out and replaced by superior variants beginning in 1942 and continuing through 1943, and the Spitfire Mk VII entered service in the summer of 1942, so the only time slot where these two planes would have fought would have been very close to, or during the winter of 1942-43. Thus, the dogfight would have been over western Norway in the winter of 1942. Also, amazing piloting. These pilots are quite obviously veterans of the Battles of France, Norway, Britain, and Lybia, demonstrating their skills and tenacity, so major shout-out to them.

I first saw this video when I was ten years old. When I watched it I was shocked. It was the most beautiful thing 10 year old me had ever seen. I cried so much and I had to watch it so many more times after that. Years later this video appeared in my recommended for the second time and it's just as striking as I remember.

這首Star Sky是神曲////一直是我在Two Steps From Hell的作品裡最喜歡的一首歌，情緒上的鋪陳層次漸進，小提琴和鋼琴的帶入也可以如此滄桑壯烈!!!一聽就愛上!! 原影片Path of Hate也單獨看過，不過覺得結局好黑暗XDDDD 但沒想到這首音樂和這部影片能搭配得這麼完美無瑕，太震撼了!!!!好感人啊!!!QAQ 戴著耳機聽真的看哭了我，看到最後都快哭完一包衛生紙了QAQ 戰爭都是無情殘酷的，看完超有感觸，感嘆當年戰爭的慘烈，大家都是將生死置之度外，都是為了國家和榮譽而戰，最後結尾讓人無限聯想，彈藥用盡油也沒了，各自飛向世界的盡頭.....我想.....應該也是墜入地獄的深淵了吧?? 我只想向影片裡的兩位飛行員致敬QAQ

原始完整影片比較訴諸於雙方的仇恨，尤其是在後半段。為了讓歌曲跟影片比較契合一點，所以後半段沒剪進來。在配上音樂後意外的反而變成了一部為信仰與愛人而戰，讓人感觸很深的影片 😅

看原片沒有太多情緒 搭配這音樂簡直成了經典RRRRRRR

感謝你制造這個影片,沒有這部影片,這首歌對我而言只是好聽,看了這個影片就多了更多的感觸。其實除了歌曲中的妻子,我們是否也可以想像每個死去的士兵,他們的父母妻子兒女對他們的思念,而最終只能發出一聲嘆息吧

影片中的德軍飛機是Bf 109 C-0或C-1，屬於非量產型號。 判斷根據是引擎室的早期型進氣口，E型之後的引擎規格與進氣口設計大幅改變，所以排除掉E型之後的所有可能。 接著，慢動作來看可以發現它採用雙葉片螺旋槳，加上翼砲的配置刪除掉B型與D型。 最後再從武器口徑把C-3刪去，得到答案。 英軍飛機則是噴火Mk IX，屬於中後期型號。 判斷根據是機翼底下的冷卻口對稱，所以噴火Mk VC以前的型號可以通通排除。 接著，噴火Mk VIII之後的型號為了改良後方視野，採用了如影片中的後照鏡，然而從Mk XVI之後該後照鏡被移除。 最後由翼砲配置結合機翼形狀得出其為Mk IX。 影片中的對打依照史實應該是不會上演的，英軍的噴火Mk IX性能壓倒性好於C系列，而且Bf 109 C系列是1940年生產的非量產機型。真要打的話，噴火Mk IX應該會是與同為1942出款的Bf 109 G系列對打才對。不過影片本身重點並非在於史實，而是在重現著空戰的激烈、飛行員彼此的信仰－－以及怨恨的恐怖。 只是個小軍事迷而已，如果有錯誤歡迎指出(´・ω・`)／

109没给151特写好像只有两门7.92糖豆发射器，论火力肯定是没西斯帕诺2强的，从作战地区看起来应该是欧洲那边而不是非洲，那么就不应该是早期109了，估计这个是细节上错误，按层次这对手应该是8个7.7尿尿炮的那个

"Path of fate" is a film dedicated to the 303rd RAF squadron. It was Polish pilots, fighting over Great Britain with the German occupier. The Poles had the most enemy shots. Reported the shooting down of 126 Luftwaffe machines.

Except this is clearly fought over fjords and mountains so the scenery is Norwegian for sure

我在之前曾經忍著內心的恐懼，看完原片，後面能感覺到，因為戰爭而逼入絕境，整個內心已經崩潰，只剩下地獄在支撐他們，戰爭就是這樣到後來都殺了紅眼，無法回頭

音樂高潮部分居然跟影片重點畫面有契合到 超讚

Wings ripping off? You’ve been playing to much realistic, of course if they were, then after the first 10 seconds the engines would have stalled, guns jammed and landing gear failed.

My god, that was beautiful... everything - the animation, the story and it's subtleties, and of course, the music. Just... just beautiful.

嗯，我不由得向影片中的戰士致敬 說實在，我想對上戰場、各國的勇士們敬一個最有誠意的三指禮 他們非但為國捐軀，還有同歸於盡的想法，哪怕是拼死也要換上一個人的性命 戰士們是可敬的，我對於這類人甚感敬重， 也會流淚，高崇的精神足足令我感動無比。

你應該是聽了這個配樂吧！ 如果你聽的是另一個版本的配樂 那絕對會讓你全身刺激 只是那片段只有3分多鐘而已 哈哈哈

太好听了！听着就停不下的音乐啊，重点是孩子听了一遍之后她也停不下来，反复要求要听！！她还特别喜欢这个动画！我还得告诉她这俩人其实都是机器人，所以他们会发出红光。😄 不过动画配音乐真的看着过瘾，淋漓尽致，这部剪切过的动画比原版要好很多。

Ok this is going to sound a bit stupid, but there is this ROBLOX game called Zeppelin Wars, and a large part of the game is dogfighting in WWI era fighter aircraft. In one particular engagement, I was up against a very skilled pilot, and the fighting was intense and lasted for quite a while, but eventually we both ran out of ammo and flew together for a while before parting. That interaction very much reminded me of this video.

感謝讚賞!自己當初是先有音樂再去尋找適合的影片來配，當初做好時先上傳自己的臉書試試水溫，朋友都說很棒，於是開始興起做了一系列相關影片，但始終沒有這一部來的更貼切更有感覺。

他們的心，什麼也沒剩下了，信仰也好，愛情也好，這一切都隨著憎恨而逝了，剩下只有把眼前的敵人殺了這個念頭了

@@a0989029446 其實也沒說非常爛,而且照你這樣講,您祖上應該是在1940 41年當飛行員,在那之前國軍的飛行員對上日軍九六九七戰還能打個平手,甚至有幾個王牌也殺過那幾台出名,後來在P40援助前遇到零戰真的不管怎樣都死,纏鬥跟火力還有速度都在當時國軍飛行員飛機之上(但影片裏面的戰鬥真的太精彩了,我玩戰爭雷霆如果遇到這種玩家也會跟他拚到底

Thats because german pilots wouldnt go back home after a number of missions like the american pilots. They ended up fighting in their homes. Hence more experience, hence better mastery of air combat. The bf109 was well known as a difficult aircraft to master.

@@invertedv12powerhouse77 i would disagree ! Many american pilots volunteered for fighting during and before battle of Britain ! Also germans had slimmer chances because by the end of ww2 specially 1943 on wards germans had to fight with lesser pilots, aircrafts, trained pilots, fuel, ammo and all other things were against them. One day they were on russian front then in Italy then on Normandy ! so the true aces prevailed ! battle hardened and experienced.

Btw the biggest ace in history is Erich Hartmann with around 360 confirmed shotdowns he fought mostly at Eastern front but later as the frontlines got closer he fought basically on both and survived both war and also Gulag in USSR. (And yes he was German)

@@officialeuladegenerate4035 Also interesting fact that after all these years his "soon-to-be wife" was waiting for him, he was in gulag for like 5 years? Mabey even 15 however He was there until soviets retrieved all captured soldiers from WW2

This is the kind of experience that could change a mans soul from good, to evil. War is the physical embodiment of hell. It sucks into it whole generations of people and ruins the lives of both the Civilians and the Soldiers. And a dogfight this intense could brake a mans soul and leave him waisted and regretful. Even if he hasn’t killed his opponent/adversary. The look in both of the pilots eyes is about right for what they went through (even though it were an animation). Their eyes were cold and angry. As they should be for what they went through. It’s a basic human instinct to change based on an event such as this. If that were me in that Spitfire or BF109, I’d be in the same mental state as them, and there’d be no escaping this mindset. I would give it everything I had to the point of no return. And if I ended up living, I’d never be the same. Never smile, never frown. But instead an emotionless husk of a person long since forgotten by his sins. This is a well depicted video showing what it truly means to fight a war. And what it means to live with the aftermath of sins that took place in war.

Especially on how when the wedding photo went onto the man's face, he had no reaction. Only a grim face, as he let it fly away. That shows how intense wars can be, and how only a few minutes of a battle can change a man's entire soul. God curse wars.

@@mirage7564 Yeah, the story is deep i think . The pilots of each sides fought their best, even using landing gear as a defense weapon. Their bloodshot looking eyes are exactly what people felt when intense, they fought for their mission, their country and their life. When they r out of bullet, the Luftwaffe pilot returned to his white looking eyes, looking back to his British counterpart, as he knew that they are now out of bullets and no longer can hurt each other, and saluted him for a good fight.

It's a MASTERPIECE from all the pointa of view! OMG!!!!

I was literally playing GTA Onlike with my P-45 Nokota when a dude attacked me with a MK II, I started listening to this song, I called my insurance, got my aircraft back, I got in a dogfight with him and I killed him with only the cannons!! This is why this song should be incluided in a WWII game, cuze it is just EPIC!!
