Hey dude. Arma is very dependent on the CPU and it's a slightly more old school style in which Arma is coded as far as I know so it's all about the single core clock speed. Your CPU would give a slightly better frame rate in most other games than mine and a little lower than mine in Arma 3. Here is a comparrison: cpu.userbenchmark.com/Compare/Intel-Core-i7-4790K-vs-AMD-Ryzen-TR-1900X/2384vsm340638 I get like 45 - 75fps when in the AO and it's all kicking off, on a max 100 player server. I would get lower on a server with more than 100 or if the AO is Kavala. My PC Spec: CPU = i7 4790k 4GHz, 16GB RAM, GPU = Nvidia 980 Ti, Creative sound blaster Z, SSD drive for games and windows and 2 HDDs in RAID for recording. I also have 144Hz monitor, which is 24" with 1920x1080 resolution, Corsair K95 RGB keyboard, Logitech G502 RGB mouse and a steelseries QCK mouse mat. The PC is powered by a Corsair 850w power supply and the CPU is cooled by a Corsair H80i. Operating system is Windows 8.1 Pro 64 bit. I have a video that shows my settings and I talk about how each settings affects frame rate: kzread.info/dash/bejne/iqWDlqRvhs_YepM.html&t You may find some of the settings affects the frame rate in different ways than it does for me. try to open your arma.cfg in user documents (where savegames usually located at) and edit GPU_maxframesahead=1 and the following GPU line in 0, should fix the mouse input lag

Spent my double up well :D got me 2 shiny new perma AMS scopes, bought one for my SPAR 17 then idkw, maybe nostalgia, i felt the need to get one for my MK18. The holiday it seems are a time for buying great scopes.

Hey dude. Yeah, a lot of the good guns are DLC. Have you tried the Zafir? That's a gun I use a lot as it's a little better against vehicles than the Mk200 and you still have the best long range sniper riles, the M320 LRR and the GM6 Lynx APDS. The Lynx with APDS rounds is very good for taking out vehicles so it can be good to put something like a DMS or ideally an AMS scope on it and go in a bit closer. It is probably the loudest gun in the game though.

how do you always stay zoomed out? do you got a tutorial for your view controls/settings?

Haha. Yeah, I don't think he was expecting that. He did well to get some shots off in time. The RPG-7 and RPG-42 Alamut more fair than the MAAWS? I agree with that. The MAAWS is too strong for Infantry Only King of the Hill in my opinion. I think that the Vorona (now removed) is more balanced in Infantry Only. The Vorona does really need the Thermal optic removed and ideally the range of the laser reduced to like 1k to make it totally fair, but I'm not sure if that's possible to do for the koth devs. The MAAWS is just right for hitting vehicles inside the AO, but the Vorona is for long range and it's really hard to use to hit vehicles that are close if they're moving as the optic is too zoomed in.

Hey dude. That system will run Arma 3 reasonably well, but you will need to turn some graphics down to keep a high frame rate, including shadows (turn off), PIP (turn off) and view distance (keep to lower than 1.5k). I would also turn textures, objects and terrain in the general tab to no higher than 'high'. I have a video that shows my settings and I talk about how each setting affects frame rate: kzread.info/dash/bejne/iqWDlqRvhs_YepM.html&t I would suggest following that and turning some things down a bit. I hope this helps.

@@taopaipai The ASP is quite good, it does a lot of damage and is probably the quietest gun in the game so it's great for being sneaky, I don't use it that often though as the range is so short on it. Anything over 200 meters will require some experience to make a hit.

Do you know how much an Apds lynx is and the level and cost of a scope like an mos and Lrps cost? (Perma buy)

300,000 for the gun, 80,000 maybe for the scope I think. Level 50 for the gun, not sure though.

U need lvl 50 for the apds lynx (300k) and then u need lvl 62 for a LRPS (around 60-80k)

@@ryanm.191 Was that you in the Littlebird then? Yeah as fytaan says it's 300k for the APDS Lynx and I believe it's 80k for the LRPS, 90k for the AMS and you have to be around lvl 60 for an LRPS, maybe a little higher and lvl 70 for the AMS.

Hey dude. You will need to turn some graphics settings down to get a good frame rate. I recommend that you turn off shadows and Picture in Picture (PIP) and keep your view distance to 1.5k or lower. I also recommend that you turn off AA and set textures, objects and detail in the general tab to 'High'. I have a video that show my settings: kzread.info/dash/bejne/iqWDlqRvhs_YepM.html&t I think you should copy the settings in this video, but turn some settings down a bit further. I hope this helps.

@@roxxman3161 Arma needs a good CPU and it does not use the graphics card as much as other games. I think it was easier for the devs to make the game this way with the lower budget they have compared to other games. It means that it's harder to get a good frame rate, unfortunately. :(
