Best comeback I’ve ever watched against such a great opponent. Truly amazing win!

Stumbled upon the game on Espn+ at 3-0 NC and watched an amazing comeback. Fun to see.

UNC head coach Anson Dorrance is Mormon, too. I am a Tar Heel but wow what an incredible comeback and you got to love seeing fans rush the field, too. Congrats, Cougars!

Not easy to comeback from down 0-3 to a national powerhouse. BYU didn't give up and dominated the second half. I hope they win the whole thing! Commentators were great, too.

Damn. I was hoping to see Cosmo and the Cougerrettes lol. Getting that early 3-0 lead changes the mentality a lot and especially the aggressiveness they had getting it. Seen it happen so many times in every sport. Great exciting game!

@@iinspireNP BYU did score with 29 minutes left to make it 3-1. Still, BYU was down two goals with less than 10 minutes left. This person probably thought the 3-1 deficit would be the final tally and turned it off.

That’s the power of the Relief Society. If it was EQ, it would have ended in the first half 😂

UNC blew a massive lead and what should have been a surefire win - although I don't know that I can place all of the blame on the players. Dorrance has majorly lost his way - this is the guy that created such a competitive environment that some players would feel more anxiety at practice than at games. But then his second half strategy when he's up 3-0 is just to sit back and play defense? What a disaster.

BYU got early-game-nervous syndrome and "miracle" comeback, NC game management were poor, parked "the bus" too early, they should keep the high line and keep attacking on 3-0 and 3-1, ball-possession and time-wasting mode on 3-2, 5:34 at least being bold on every counter-attacks.

6:41 Obvious foul, the goalie was pushed into the net when she would have had a play on the ball. Great comeback, but this goal 100% should have been ruled out.

Virtual replay of the tying UCLA goal with 16 seconds left in last year's championship game... Bodying up on the keeper to prevent them having any chance to make a play on the ball... BYU #15 boxes Allen out like she was going for a rebound in basketball... Can't say that BYU wouldn't have won anyway, but that goal should have been disallowed... obvious keeper interference.

@@KRowDreamForgeNah, the ball deflected off a defender's back, 'keeper had no chance at it. Yes, argument can definitely be made the defender blocked the goalie's line-of-sight, but she was wrong-footed and never getting near it.

Something I just noticed: Every one of BYU's goals were struck with the left foot.

2:08 How is that not off-sides? Clearly the girl is behind the defense and right in front of the goal. I once did that in a youth game and was called for it.

She was in an offsides position, but the refs did not believe an offsides violation was warranted because she did not obviously impact the play.

Agree. The ref just missed this 100%. But the keeper was moving for the ball to come that direction. She impacted the play whether she touched the ball or not.
