I've been on a Salamanders kick lately, and creating lava bases for them has been a huge amount of fun! These techniques can be used on any of your Warhammer armies, or would probably also be great for Star Wars Legion if you're fighting on Mustafar...

Personally I don't have an issue with it! If it works for you and saves you money then go for it! I still think GW's plastic kits are the absolute best option purely from an ease of use/ease of conversion when hobbying but I've printed bits here and there when I've wanted to save money!
