The Ginger takes us through an installation of the EPIC Kraken Tire Inflation System for your 2018+ Jeep Wrangler JL or your 2020+ Jeep Gladiator JT. Good News - The Kraken now works with the 2024 Jeep power seats!

The EPIC MFG team has put together a CAD-designed mounting system that holds the ARB Twin Compressor under your Jeep passenger seat while plumbing air to both sides of the vehicle for easy, simultaneous, 4-tire inflation.
Kit Contents:
Passenger seat mounting plate.
Driver seat mounting bracket.
4 air lines, fittings, ring terminals, custom wiring harness and cross-over tubes. Everything you need to install.
An air line carry bag with a fancy Kraken branding from our friends at Adventure Trail Gear.
A nifty, high-quality 3M reflective Kraken decal to show your friends you know what's up.
Pressure Control Upgrade Kit Sold Separately.
Using only the very best hardware, the mounting plates/brackets are aluminum, anodized black and laser-etched. Fittings and tubes are of superb quality. There simply is not a better 4-tire inflation system available. Ask your mom - she knows.
You will need an ARB Twin Compressor (CKMTA12) - sold separately - which will come with the power wiring harness and the power switch.
This is a no-drill installation and we've made the electrical component of the install super simple with our own plug & play power switch wiring harness (included in the kit).
Please Note:
Right now, this kit only works for Jeep Wrangler JL (2018+, 4 door or 2 door models) and the Jeep Gladiator (2020+). This kit will not work in a Jeep Wrangler JK or any other vehicle.
The kit is designed specifically for the ARB Twin Compressor (CKMTA12). It may be possible to use another pump, but that's up to you.

18:11 For mine I am glad they give that extra precaution because I broke one of the detents and one of my wires freely comes out until I put that black thing on. Then it stays put :)
24:03 I noticed this in mine. Your original guide doesn't include this part about cutting the floor mat. I just let the floor mat hang on top of the compressor LOL.
I bought the Kraken for my '18 JLUR shortly after it came out. Easy install. Works great!

I've got the same kinda setup on my ram, except the compresser is under the hood and I made a water proof box for the control box, I noticed the pressure control kit really slows down the inflation, I think it restricts airflow plus it stops frequently to check the pressure, I set up a bypass air line so when I'm inflating I can get the air right from the conpresser, it's alot faster, to fill 4 37's from 10 to 45psi it takes about 15 min, I'd probably get a headache listening to that noisy conpresser under my seat,
This looks like an absolutely amazing system!!! Does it also deflate to a set pressure if you have the pressure control module?
Now, i want one.... damn ocean between us! Lolol

Great video! Few questions: 1) has this been tested with the Armorlite flooring system? 2) can this be hooked up to my S pod or factory aux switches somehow? If so what changes? 3) has this been tested with the desert does it seat jackers or seat slammers? 4) can the pressures be set so the front tires go up/down different than the rears? The diesel seems to like about 2lbs more on and off road up front based on wear patterns and tire squish aired down Thanks!

Wow, lots of questions! Probably better if you just give us a call to discuss in the near year. Briefly: Armorlite - sure, SPod - sure, Seat jackers - as long as it doesn't lower the seat too much, All tires are connected - so just pull the air chucks off the rear tires sooner. Might want to redirect the heat for winter bashing the blowing directly onto the ARB and the wiring could cause a issue cuz not everyone has common sense
Only the switch cover is in the component, is the switch purchased separately?
I see on amazon the ARB brand name compressor goes for nearly double the cost of a non-band name, they look identical, any idea if those would work?
So what is on the wheel end? Is there a different adapter there? Or does it need to be screwed on? Is it possible for you guys to do a more shot for shot instruction on setting up before trail and after?

I just received and installed my Kraken system but installed it the same way on your other video coming up the front drain plug. Does that mean I need to reroute to the back drain plug like in this video? I didn’t relocate the wires under the seat either as the other video didn’t require me to reroute the wiring is this something for the 2024 as I have the 2023 ?

I have a front camera but I don’t have the big pile of wires/ bracket 2023 gladiator rubicon Do I need to relocate anything .

System up and running !! It’s great! If I want to reroute the airline going to driver side now that’s it’s installed … how do you remove the hose from the push-in connector?

Does the seat still lower all the way down?

I’d like to pick it up because this is something that I should’ve bought before I left, but I bought it and had it delivered right to my hotel and installing it in the parking lot but I have no cradle for it.
