@@pd1jdw630 I only used a quiet floor underlayment between the plywood subfloor and the laminate flooring. There is insulation between the subfloor and garage below as well. I could have gone crazy, and likely will in my next studio build, but for my current purposes I would not have seen enough benefit from another layer of material and green glue. Again, my garage is directly below and doesn't present much of an issue in resonance the way I work and the way the house is constructed.

Nice to see that Gallien-Kreuger 250ML in there. Love those things :)

I really like how the amps/cabs and pedal board are wired into the patch bay- it’s all about plug and play!

Love how clean and organized everything is. Makes the creative process flow more easily when you aren't concentrating on a mess of cables you keep meaning to get to. Great room, great gear, great video.

LOVED THIS. Wow, this is one of my favorite tours. I love his cable management (the snakes are somehow mounted below the back rim of the desk?) and the organization of the equipment. He's got this room totally dialed in for optimum workflow. The guitar collection is amazing - that one 80s guitar with pans for each string is insane. Overall, this video was super well done and the tour itself was extremely interesting. This guy was a great guest for the series.

Amazing, real creative.

There is a fair amount of nomenclature that is over my head. When something is so familiar to you, it is easy to forget that not everyone understands the verbiage to the same degree. Pretty awesome studio set up though.

Missed it in the video. What is the mounting system that his holding the guitars up? Clearly string swing kind thing, but what are they mounted to?

Hey Daniel they are the 4 ft String Swing channels next to each other, mounted to the studs in the wall.

Did he happen to share what shelving system he was using for his amp heads? I am obsessed with finding a great and stylish solution for storing heads, besides some crappy shelves from the hardware store, and his looks pretty nice.

Avantone mix cubes are the small speakers stacked on top of the Dynaudios.

The mix buss set up is that permanent or does he mix and match with other bits of gear?.

The external mix buss is a static setup. I can insert it in Protools as a i/o path. I can also bypass individual pieces if I wish but for the most part that chain and settings remain the same and I mix into it. I don't hit anything very hard as i use it for glue and color. It works great!
