    I like to imagine a world with no plugins. Where Final Cut just lets us do these things natively. There are probably 5 plugins that I couldn't do without, but 95% of the issues I run into in Final Cut are plugin related. It's a real love hate relationship.

    But also yes I hear you. Apple hands off a lot off the heavy lifting to their parties, where premiere and resolve tackle more of the hard problems themselves

    Thank you for sharing this video! I am just getting started with FCPX. After I shoot my video on my iPhone and bring it into FCPX, do you recommend adjusting the color first or applying a LUT via MVFX? Just trying to get an understanding of the recommended workflow.

    MotionVFX do great plugins and have really good customer service. When I bought mHUD 3 my i9 MB Pro was ridiculously slow to export video using it. They found a resolution of me within 2 hours of reporting it that involved teaching me how to adjust the assets in Motion. They then incorporated this resolution into some future releases so other people didn't have issues. I have also reported issues in the past for them to fix and make updates available in their app within the day. I love MVFX.

    Another great helpful Video thank you. One question before I go ahead and purchase the MVideos plugin, I saw the effect during your Video where the Letterbox gradually fades in or out I would assume too. Are you able to slow that down to your chosen speed, or is it set? I love that effect, and have to do this with key frames and it's a pain, so to know if I can slow it down, I am sold. If you could let me know that would be appreciated. thanks !

    I’m on the newer side of Final Cut Pro I haven’t had a Mac or the software for nearly as long as I did my old windows computer so there’s still a lot for me to learn about the software, but I am loving everything that it’s capable of and this was really helpful. Thank you! I have cerebral palsy and I’m wheelchair-bound so most of the time due to lack of money I literally have to use things until they completely break. Lol. Luckily for me I had a friend who had an extra iMac the last Intel one and sold it to me for fairly cheap at $600 so if you count FCP $900 not too bad to start with.

    Love MotionVFX plugins! I just wish they had an adjustment for timing the In and Out of more effects. Most effects just have a default toggle on/off instead of an adjustment for the In and Out of the effect. To get around this sometimes I will put an effect in a compound clip so I can retime it.

  • @stalman

    Hi Eric! We like the effect as well and we try to put it in some packs (e.g. mTitle Kinetic 2), but the process is really problematic to enable it and doesn't work with all elements, so it's always a case-by-case analysis.

    No, affiliate commissions is drastically different than sponsorships.

  • @FrankDavalos

    @FrankDavalos

    Жыл бұрын

    @@AuthenTech I understand that, but usually the affiliates are the companies like amazon and BHPhoto paying you… not the brands themselves. I suppose this is the exception. If you have a relationship with a company, to me that’s more similar to a sponsorship and it’s odd to pretend like it’s an unbiased video when the entire video is about one company. I don’t mean to sound like I’m hating either. I’m really not. I think KZreadrs like Tyler deserve to get their bag.

    Good to hear the feedback, but affiliate links only make sense for products that you actually use. I already use MotionVFX in all my videos and recommend with or without affiliates. Disingenuous would not being upfront about the affiliate program, which most creators don’t call attention to at all.
