Ahhh...the good ol' days of the Ferrari DIY. I thoroughly enjoy these vids and kinda miss the old garage in some ways but that's just me being nostalgic. Steve is well equipped and quite handy, is he a tech/mechanic?

Stunning condition of the car, don't care what ya say about black, it's beautiful. Most people don't know how to properly maintain the color. People are always asking how I keep my black cars looking so good, besides I'm sure this car won't be a daily anyway. What's the mileage on the car Dan? Nice work guys!

5k miles. When black is properly taken care of it looks so damn good. But it's a bitch to take care of

Great video, and nice seeing a fellow Austinite get at it. Recently gave up my GT3T allocation and took the plunge on a 488. Best decision I made!! After having experienced the 488 I never looked back! Looking to have my exhaust upgraded here in the near future and would appreciate any feedback you may have on the Novitec race exhaust or any other suggestions that might fit the bill.

Get the Kline. It's cheaper than novitec, with just as good of quality and sound. Plus we sell them and can hook you up with 10% off.

No... 458 with Armytrix decat system sounds like a Ferrari should :) But for a modern turbocharged engine its good.

Good clean ones are in the $250-300K range depending on miles, options, and condition.

I love the sound of turbo cars with downpipes (GT2 RS and 488). Don't get me wrong, I like the sound of NA cars but they're 10 and 12 cylinder cars. 488 got a bad wrap because people cared more about sound than speed.....smh

@@458Aperta The Kline exhaust system is top notch and the sound is super rich, especially when made out of Inconel. These microphones do not capture its true essence, you have to hear it in person. You would not be disappointed, trust me.
