That's true but this was ridiculous......

I can see that they had modernized the mechanics of this elevator since it starts and stops gradually opposed to "on a dime". I wonder why it kept stalling and then traveling at leveling speed.

It sucks that such an old elevator's acting up in this manner, this elevator's so nice. Well, sometimes technology just won't let us be great, huh?

It's not a good sign when you see something saying to use it at your own risk from the start, lol.

That looks broken all right.

Buttons have been replaced, What buttons are those, amazing elevator, I really like these sort of elevators, such a gem.

I think one of the Contactors got bad

It's still beautiful. My money's on an old brittle wire cracked somewhere in the interlock wiring.

I think they may have replaced this thing by now. :(

Werid how they decied to put an emergency light in there, esspicaly mounted vertically.

Last I heard, this piece of crap wasn't running anymore but I don't know how true that is. This is a good example of an elevator that's needs a mod or some major TLC

Elevator not crap, the people not taking care of it, are. That 80 year old elevator at Rush Rhee's library runs perfectly.... better than most people...

I think the motor is actually worn out I think that's why that happens
