Great Job. I built my first Rogallo Hang glider out of Bamboo and 6 mil plastic when I was 12 years old. Then Aluminum Tube and Nylon fabric at 16. A year ago I found an Old "Wing Thing" from 1962 in the original box that was free flight, Nitro powered. Have reconfigured it to Electric and added RC servos to a Rudder and Nose elevator. Works Great. Fun to Fly. Keep up the great work. A1.

I did this in junior high school using 2 umbrella framework pieces covered with plastic shopping bags a string tied from front to back with a weight tied to the string with a wire wrapped around the string so that the weight can be moved and it would stay for flight adjustment. When tossed off of the Hillside the fact that weight was free swinging was somewhat of an autopilot freeflight control system. I never made one radio-controlled though these are my years of the free fight exploration.

Josh -- you show great inspiration in your videos. I discovered the Rogallo wing design over 40 years ago when I use to live on a boat and built kites for a hobby. For about three dollars worth of materials, I could build a stunt kite that could go about 60 mph and crash in and out of the water without problems. I would link the sticks together with plastic tubing and tape plastic fabric over the wings. Currently, I have about seven kite models in my room -- and all of them are very similar to the Rogallo design. However, all of them have a boat shaped payload that is fixed to the overhead kite using sticks and plastic tubing. The length of all the sticks used in these models are scaled to the 5/8 "Golden Section" concept -- and the CG payload point is at the 5/8 mark. The differential thrust idea located outwards from the CG payload point is the secret that make the design work so well. The design uses a total 90 degree spread -- or 45 degree per wing. Any greater or lesser wing angle can result in poor performance -- or serious instability. Moreover, if the wings have too much or too little "pocket shape", the craft can also result in poor performance -- or serious instability. I believe this "A shape aircraft" design has ancient origins -- and also believe it will be the shape of the most simplest portable aircraft in our future. For more information about the aircraft design I'm referencing -- please visit my spiritofatlantis.com website. Again, great episode!

🔴 What Is Islam? ⚠️ 🔴 Islam is not just another religion. 🔵 It is the same message preached by Moses, Jesus and Abraham. 🔴 Islam literally means ‘submission to God’ and it teaches us to have a direct relationship with God. 🔵 It reminds us that since God created us, no one should be worshipped except God alone. 🔴 It also teaches that God is nothing like a human being or like anything that we can imagine. 🌍 The concept of God is summarized in the Quran as: 📖 { “Say, He is God, the One. God, the Absolute. He does not give birth, nor was He born, and there is nothing like Him.”} (Quran 112:1-4)[4] 📚 🔴 Becoming a Muslim is not turning your back to Jesus. 🔵 Rather it’s going back to the original teachings of Jesus and obeying him. This was a USAF version of the Gemini spacecraft that would land on a runway instead of in the ocean. Unfortunately, there were some major technical issues with deployment. However, this led to the initial ultralight aircraft market.

I have made numerous gliders from Styrofoam egg carton lids. I used a penny on the nose to get the CG right. I always thought that if you could get the electronics small enough you could power one. A bottle rocket will power one for a short flight, but usually results in just a bunch of quick loops.

I’d like to see y’all build a C130 with Estes rocket engines strapped to it like the blue angels c130 with JATO rockets. Then do a boosted takeoff. It will be hard to control on such a small scale but could be really cool to see a plane with such an accelerated climb profile on a small scale. Then put a Traxxas T-Maxx in the cargo hold, have a door that opens up and releases the traxxass out the back with a parachute, once the T-Maxx is on the ground it initiates a land to air race, first vehicle to make to to the furthest green on the course wins, the C-130 has to land on said green though. You’ll either have to have the truck running upon takeoff or find a way to start it up in flight, which they have electric ignition now so that may be possible

You guys should try attaching an action from a paintball gun to plane models and dogfighting with them. The planes have to be real sturdy for all that movement tho.

Great product guys. I was thinking, it would be kind of cool to see windage flags in some of your videos to have a visual of what the winds are doing. Obviously, they would probable take a toll to the weather exposure but pink flagging is a cheap option for lower winds. We use them all the time with the Forest Service.

great idea.... paper is ok but the metallic Christmas films are better and they dont fall apart when they get wet.. I used some to recover a vapour wing, which made it nice and bright as a Christmas flier..
