They got to access to the test server lmao...even if the server is live you can't be this fast, ascension mats, talent books etc. , all of them are from the new region and you can't even prefarm everything

I've got a guarantee & 367 wishes so I can get Lyney & another character (probably the Archon) later. I've got C2 Yelan & R1 Aqua so I might do a few 10 pulls on the weapon banner & see if I get lucky & get his weapon. I haven't wished in so long but I'm glad I saved my guarantee for Lyney, he's so much fun or he was in the trial.

all his explosions are like fireworks, its what yoimiya wanted to be

Liney is decent, that's it.

Damn he looks pretty good even though all his damage is pure raw pyro dmg.

I'm so impressed with my Lyney. He's level 70 ( 2 1 1 talents) with a level 60 aqua sim and 4 piece witches. He's already doing 20k-40k regularly with his attack despite being so sparsely built. He's super fun too

I was gonna roll for him anyway because he's cute, but looking at his kit I was worried he'd be boring to play or weak. But judging by this video I actually think he'll be quite fun, and I might be able to get some use out of my Dehya after all. Thanks for the guide!

He won't be weak that's for sure but if you already have other pyro damage dealers then expect it be rather be more or less the same unless you really want the character (ex: Xiangling). Also since he is a bow user he is bound to be a glass canon type of a character (high damage, slim HP). Also if you don't like Ganyu's CA playstyle then skip him because you would experience the same weaknesses when you're playing as Ganyu. Interruption? = huge DPS loss Dodging? = huge DPS loss Knocked over? = huge DPS loss So if you don't want to experience that then just stick with Xiangling or other easier to use pyro dps.

@@oddpotato4038 I have Xiangling build for Abyss, and after 3 years, she has a pretty cracked build, but where is the fun in that? If someone enjoys Lyney, why look at the previous characters? Lyney to me is 10x more fun than other pyro units so I have no regrets

I wasn't sure if i was gonna want him because i wasn't looking at leaks. I did his test run, saw his damage and gimmicks, and then immediately put ten wishes into his banner and got him at 50 wishes

The real reason people should pull for him is that he can mark rarities of the new region. Just like Tighnari in Sumeru. Also we may not get another character with this talent any time soon. Just like in Sumeru where you have just one... Behind the standard banner))

It's amazing how Benny seems like he was designed exactly for Liney. Like he's Sara to Raiden or Gorou to Itto. If I was new to the game and just found out about them, I'd be thinking "oh they designed these two to go together. Good."

Imagine if we had a Burning-reaction equivalent of Blizzard Strayer, where same rules apply but the bonus is crit dmg instead of crit rate. It would certainly make a mono-pyro team magical for Lyney. Burning just seems like a good reaction for mono-pyro simply due to lasting pyro status, so now it just needs a Roaming Firestorm set. Burning itself is mid so it could really use a strong artifact set to tailor towards melt or mono-pyro. Lyney's a pretty insane character with raw damage, so he is pretty much a pyro twink version of Itto- Charged attack dependent, mono-elemental, and high raw damage.

I kind of had a rough day so even though I told myself to save up, I proceeded to look at his weapon, thought it was pretty great for ganyu, pulled it in 20 pulls, and immediately spent the rest of lyney's banner. Thankfully, I didn't have enough left to hit soft pity and I have saved myself the mental and financial breakdown that might've happened if I pulled him and didn't have enough for hydro archon.

well, even if you start saving up from 0 pulls with only events/mails/abyss/dailies, you will have enough for hydro archon in 4.2

The problem is "charge" and an old bad friend "bow", as long as the enemies are passive or sponges (open world) this can be useful.

Or big. If you can land the shots it also provides a huge damage boost, because you don't need to run. CA gameplay's reputation is much worse than it should be, mainly because of mobile. There are drawbacks, of course there are, because it has also huge upsides.

I cleared the abyss 33 stars with a lvl 70 talent 112 lyney. his play style isn't the smoothest but his dmg is really good and he is fun to play

So happy I got him and his weapon after saving for so long. I was honestly surprised to see how much damage he does

IIRC there were some early leaks, about a fatui harbinger release in the future who is going to be pyro and being able to shred pyro resistance. If that is the case, you could run 4 pyro team members for even more stupid damage with Lyney... I don't have the primos to get him, but if you do and you enjoy his play style go for it! He is only going to get better with patches and new releases

my current team is lyney, bennett, kazuha and dehya. he's sooo fun to play and deals a nice amount of damage even though i have 2 4* artifacts at lvl 1 and i don't do a full rotation. can't wait to finish his build

This is how Dehya should have been made. The kit looks bad when you don't know the damage but when the damage is big the bad kit doesn't really matter (not to say Lyney kit is bad but when they showed him on stream he looked like a 5 stars amber)

I think they wanted to make Dehya a absorbing damage/tank that deals pyro damage but it seems hoyoverse doesn't much time to fix her kit so they just released her just for the sake of the schedule.

Here is a quick tips for lenny . So basically use slingshot on him and use 3star artifacts on him..

I'm sure Thoma's shield and burst only trigger with normal attack, while Lyney will always use charged and never use normal attack

Lyney wants mono pyro, but Lynette wants atleast 3-element party, as anemo of course both have synergy but as said in the video, Zhongli and Kazuha is much better as 4th team member

Trials don't even generally have very good damage... Think just how much damage a well built Lyney will deal

Nothing will stop me from getting Furina, plus I already have Ganyu & Tighnari with good builds.

I got his weapon like 3 pull (18 pity), and 17 pity lyney himself came home, idk wtf this luck but i am glad he is a good character (i was pulling for lynette 😂)

Content creators have early access to new characters and some other features so we, regular players, don't have to wait for a guide.

Its better use Lyney + Xiangling + Bennet + Dehya? or needs an anemo character? I only have Lynette C0

I'm glad I pulled for him, while I do want furina, I think i ahve enough time to save enough (f2p) with the new area and quests etc. I lost 5050 to a c4 mona but then 60 pulls later got 2 copies in one ten pull

So far all 5* Fontaine char have HP manipulation

Not gonna pull him but I'm happy that he is no doubt a good character. Similar power level to Ganyu but pyro but with more interesting playstyle and mechanic It is cool that he has more burst damage to mow down enemies with short opening but honestly I would rather use Melt Ganyu if I just want to use bow charge shot. Fortunately he is not a terribly useless character like Dehya as he can compete with the average 5 star tho I'm not a huge fan that he has only one meta team and that is also with caveat but oh well, it isn't a bad start for Fontaine

I think i might go With, Bennett / Kirara and Lynette for VV shred with him, is it good? Plus i have a question, is it worth to lvl him up to 90? I don't think anything scale with hp except the cat health.

With mono pyro team lvl 80 is enough tbh, but there's nothing wrong with levelling main DPS to lvl 90

I play on mobile too but Lyney isn't too bad to play since even if you miss, the cat hat next to the enemy will still attack because you spawned a new cat hat elsewhere.

I tried out Thoma and it doesn't feel right. You need to use normal attacks to cast his shield, which makes you lose time. As someone who doesn't have Zhongli, Dehya works amaizing, best team I tried yet. 😄

Lyney summons the hat, but turns into the cat.

How critical is the 3rd pyro? Looks like the Xiangling is not that important here so what if just go with Kazuha + Zhongli + Bennet? Will it be too low passive Pyro status? If this pack will become meta I'll probably pull him on a rerun after getting Zhongli.

Xiangling is critical if there are multiple enemies, as Lyney grim hat is single target (except when exploded by E), not to mention -15% pyro res and 15% pyro bonus from her passive and C6 Also keep in mind that Lyney passive requires pyro aura, XL burst has no ICD can keep maintaining pyro aura on enemies, especially if you're using Zhongli where his geo damage can consume pyro aura for crystallize
